You're not cheesing or glitching this boss, you're simply using a common technique employed most commonly in mmos called "kiting". When you're "kiting" you're leading the boss on a path that suits your purposes, in this case, you keep him running around that pile of debris so you can continue damaging him. Calling this "cheese" lumps legit tactics in with tween trash.
