Hey there,
As a general rule, players will only be able to access the content that they own the license for. Features like “Gameshare” are not supported by Bungie. This is subject to Platform policy. Here are some helpful links to learn about how content is shared across the different platforms on which you can play Destiny.

I was able to resolve this by deleting the game and redownloading. My son is playing now and doesn't seem to have any issues.
-
But if I did that will I lose my characters and items?
-
Here's what worked, and I didn't lose anything - go to My Games and find the Legendary Edition entry - not the main Destiny entry. Delete that, and redownload. That fixed the issue for us.
-
I didn't buy the legendary edition though.
-
Can you redownload just the expansion?

Ultrabump.

Boycott Bungie. TTK does not allow all players on a single xbox to play (similar to all previous DLC except a few player specific pieces) DO NOT BUY DESTINY THE TAKEN KING IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE PLAYERS. ONLY THE PAYING PROFILE WILL BE ALLOWED TO PLAY. UR wasting your time. My kid bought TTK with his own funds on our main 360 so everyone could play...like normal. Like Borderlands, like CoD, like Halo. Cannot access TTK on the same xbox he bought it on. Eff you Bungievision, I'm not paying 40$ a player for a mediocre game.

Edited by EchoesOfMadness: 9/15/2015 1:27:19 PMI don't even know what gameshare is. Fact is we just purchased TTK on my sons 360, so he played for a bit and now it's his brothers turn, he signs out and signs into his account on the same exact xbox and can't play what the heck no other game has ever been like that ever. In like a decade seriously Bungie tell me this is an error please
-
Bungie are you fucking kidding me? If we pay for the content we should be able to play it, sub account or not. You probably just did this to squeeze another $40 out of the sub account player.
-
Actually if it stands it would cost you $60 as you would have to buy the whole game over again. The $40 version is not a stand alone purchase.
-
Bungie you're rubbish. You screwed us.
-
-blam!- YOU BUNGIE YOU LET US DO IT FOR THE GAME AND THE FIRST 2 DLC AND NOW YOU WANT TO BE -blam!- TO THE LOYAL PLAYER BECAUSE ALL YOU -blam!-S WANT IS MORE -blam!-ING MONEY IM NOT PAYING FOR 2 COPYS OF DLC YOUR A BUNCH OF SCAMING -blam!-S ITS NOT XBOX OR PLAYSTATIONS ISUSSE ITS YOUR -blam!-ING LICENSEING YOU HAVE -blam!-ED US OVER WITH Boycott Bungie. TTK does not allow all players on a single xbox to play (similar to all previous DLC except a few player specific pieces) DO NOT BUY DESTINY THE TAKEN KING IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE PLAYERS. WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT TWICE WHEN YOU LET US DO IT FOR THE GAME AND FIRST 2 DLC GO -blam!- YOURSELF YOU DIRTY -blam!-S
-
On a completely unrelated note, I do quite like bungie's choice of "-Blam!-" for censorship
-
yeah ill give you that I am surprised that they haven't band me yet lol
-
hahaha yeah
-
That doesn't solve the problem. my gf can't play either. everything is good in terms of primary PS4 setup and whatnot.
-
explain bungie the first 2 but not this over priced pos
-
Bungie I expected better from you, I just wanted to buy your game and have fun now your telling me that i not only have to spend an extra $20 on HoW just to be able to buy TTK, but if my sister wants to play she has to spend $60 to play the same game THAT IS ON THE SAME CONSOLE. I think we all deserve some answers here.
-
Stp spamming generic messages none of that bs works and you know it.. I want an explanation as to why in the usage restrictions it clearly states any user on that console will have access to the content and yet it's wrong. Only the user who paid has access......oh....and I find it funny how shortly after I post in another topic about bungie putting a code into ttk that only allows the paying user to access the content their terms of service has changed regarding game sharing.........why is that? To me that's the same as admitting they purposely did this.

If it's up to platform policy why did Bungie make an edit in the terms that dictates we can't share it even though Xbox 360's policy allows us to share games and DLC? (I've shared The Dark Below & House of Wolves already on 360, it IS a thing).

This doesn't answer the question...need some clarification

Edited by Raven1268777: 9/15/2015 11:57:04 AMMy wife and I shouldn't have to have two copies to play a game that we have played since the beta run. This is some greedy BS here... -_-
