Hey there,
As a general rule, players will only be able to access the content that they own the license for. Features like “Gameshare” are not supported by Bungie. This is subject to Platform policy. Here are some helpful links to learn about how content is shared across the different platforms on which you can play Destiny.

Edited by ROCKY JUNIOR 0: 9/15/2015 6:12:42 PMjust spoke to xbox support and its an issue on there end and have been working on it all day and will be fixed asap

I hope that's true

-blam!- your general rule, you are going against Microsoft and play-stations game sharing policy. The fact that you allowed the first dlcs to be shared on one console and then have the cheek to changed that policy. Get it changed back to the way it was!!

So disappointing.. It's my younger Bros birthday today and he got a ps4 cos he's always on my mine, I bought him destiny as its all he plays so we could play together and i pre ordered ttk on my account. Just downloaded everything onto his ps4 and then mine and now he can't play it on his account on his ps4 and I can't play on my account on my ps4, only my account on his ps4 can play... Wtf guys ?? Love this game but this is a deal breaker for me.. Actually so gutted about this

Platform policy is clear on the xbox 360. It is licensed to the account that purchased it and accessible to all others playing on that particular console. This is how all of your previous releases have worked, and the terms for this release state the same. You guys need to stop with the cop out excuse of "no gamesharing". Live up to what you have contractually committed to for all of your users/purchasers or offer refunds. Im sure most of us would rather see you simply work with microsoft to fix it.

Edited by oxI Sonic Ixo: 9/15/2015 7:50:53 PMLet me get this straight, if I purchase TTK on my account, other people on my console don't have access? This is some shameful shit, is bungie out of their mind? Are you guys seriously that money hungry you would rip off your fans this hard? Could you imagine if Netflix started charging per viewer? There would be a massive backlash.
-
this post does no good for 360 users. expansion 1 & 2 worked on both my my accounts and now TTK wi only work on one? i Will be Demanding a REFUND unless this is resolved. since when did customer service go out the window?
-
If this isn't fixed I'm not buying TTK or playing Destiny.
-
Sheer thievery
-
The terms of use CLEARLY STATE "You can use this item on the first Xbox 360 console you downloaded it to. Access to this item will also be granted to all users on this first console"
-
Exactly!

Thanks for the post.

Then why did game sharing work for Destiny Digital game and Digital Expansion Pass? Why is is that suddenly the Taken King does not support game sharing even though game sharing worked for previous expansions?
-
This is retarted bungie
Features like “Gameshare” are not supported by Bungie.
Fix. Unfair to release a game on Microsoft platform and use such a cop-out. Appears like you did for the other two dlcs. What happened?
-
Why change this a year in? Two different accounts on my ps3 bought the two docs, one getting TDB and one HoW. Works fine for both. Changing this seems like a very underhanded move.

Is the taken king nontransferrable Bc it won't let me license transfer it on my 360

I have two accounts. I have an original disc and the two dlcs, the latter having been purchased on the separate accounts. The game works fine on both accounts but I was aware that there could be a problem downloading TTK if the dlcs were purchased on two accounts. It was for this reason I re-bought the original game, 2 dlcs and TTK as a Collectors edition. I have found that on installing the disc I am unable to do TTK crucible and story although it is letting me have the Suros weapons, emblem and shader. It is also letting me pick up the missions and story, just not do them. On reading the information supplied by Bungie I was informed that if I bought the Collectors edition I would be able to transfer over my characters. I have paid for the full pack so why am I not getting it. What is going on ? I have posted this query a number of times but have yet to receive a reply

The Xbox license is specifically for the console, not for the account. This needs to be fixed yesterday. My sons are locked out and I'm pissed.
-
I was able to resolve this by deleting the game and redownloading. My son is playing now and doesn't seem to have any issues.

bump. My husband can play and I can't even though we're on the same console.
