You present your threads as credible and authoritative when you use phrases like "explained in depth", when you're really just making shit up. It's pretty successful, as it does bait me into clicking on them (to my regret). Honestly, you ought to start calling them things like "Here is a completely wild, insane guess about some innocuous symbol" or "Come see the incredible self-styled 'symbologist' AnonPig Langdon in his tweed jacket while he pretends to know everything".

Yes he is a bullshitter your post is better tweed jacket lmfao

Yeah I'm not a hater on these forums and as much as I find some of this interesting I do think click baiting was used here. If still have looked at it if it said "xur symbol in tower theory with investigation". But it was dressed as a full explanation. Still interesting though

I'll agree that it could be perceived as click bait. However, Destiny rarely, if ever, had its minutia explained by Bungie and sometimes even grimoire cards can seem to counter each other. All about context. I think that a simple tag could be used to indicate it's a lore dive / personal-view-explanation and still maintain the title. Sometimes, the only way to stay a convo that is actually beneficial to a topic is to play "media" and spice the title up in a way that makes it slightly more attractive or appealing. I'm glad some people aren't haters trying to mute discussions about lore, doo thanks for being honest and nice at the same time. Bungie and Wizards prefer to tell a story and leave the minutia and some "decision making" up to the user...it creates a unique story that is special for each individual. A lot of the community doesn't get that but will still click in these lore dive stories with personal inflection and whine that it wasn't Deej reading a book to them written by someone at Bungie. People forget that more often than not, authors actually prefer to leave some of the story up for discussion. Reality is but a combination of context and personal reflection. your reality and my reality are but two different stories with some connections. Cheers!

In in the clan so I just want to see him get kissed off, it's pretty funny. Nothing against Anon, I just like seeing the chat burn from time to time

Says the guy who can't spell "idiot", and doesn't know how to form a proper sentence.

You spelled idot, what about the i

My god, IDOT. He is not worthy of the second i in idiot. Everybody ruined the joke because they're too stupid to get it.

First idiot sir. You can't read, can you?

He is so much of an idiot he does not deserve the second "i". Therefore he is an "idot"
-
That is what a theory is? He presented his theories and gave his reasons based on facts... Don't a be a d-bag
-
No. He presented his theory as fact, and presented himself as an expert. That is what is being criticized.
-
That's rude bro
-
I don't care if it's rude. I care if it's true.
-
At least he's doing some kind of research. It may be grasping at straws but that's the fun part about Fan-Theory.

Too harsh
