Did anyone else expect this game to rely as heavily as it does on PvP? Before the game launched I was under the impression that it wouldn't.
I wish there was more of a disconnect between PvE and PvP. Or rather, that there were options. I'm doing this new faction quest and I find myself dreading grinding the Crucible for it. I would rather do 3 times the amount of PvE kills and strikes.
I think that objectives like these should be an either or option. Players should be able to choose how they want to do it. And give PvP players there own things to do from the Crucible handlers that are equivelant to a PvE reward. I think that is coming anyway if I remember correctly.
Lastly, it would be nice if PvE players had something comparable to the Crucible to play daily. Because the strike playlist is not it. The Prison of Elders is a step in the right direction for that. However it's limited and story specific in a way.
I'd like to see something similar, but always randomized. Something through the Vanguard and factions that you can choose to fight for for bonus rep. There would be mini unnamed bosses every five waves but it continues either until everyone dies or a vote to end it. It gets progressively harder with more and increasingly challenging modifiers and majors every 10 waves.
I think people should have more choice in how they want to play. I'd like to see the game stop relying on PvP as much as it does because I think the majority of players never expected it to. PvP gets something like The Lighthouse, PvE does not. Everything should have have an equivalent in both PvE and PvP. At it's core this game thrives on PvE and that is it's base. I'd like to see it reflect that.
