"No Voice" I'll just be looking at that long list of gun nerfs. I'm sure the Pve people asked for that. Not like there's not already Inferno or anything. All I want in Destiny PvP is private and custom matches. As for Mayhem, I'll absolutely be playing it, and already have been. It's the one game mode that no matter what happens, you can't get salty about anything because it's what everybody is doing. You get shut down mid-super? Shut them down next time. Only thing I might change is maybe the whole dropping heavy packs, but it certainly adds to the mayhem. The only times I wasn't enjoying myself in it was when I just couldn't find anybody, win or lose.

i dont remember being asked about the gun nerfs.... they patched them based on "internal testing" the first blanket nerf was horrible and resulted in a blink/shotty dominant meta the second blanket nerf seems to be better, but is far from perfect. and we dont even know what the year 2 gear will do..

I agree with you completely, however inferno comes and goes too often, this entire week it's not there and the week before last it was only inferno skirmish (no control or clash). If you've played inferno skirmish it's by far the worst of the three as all people do in it is camp spawns and it almost always goes to time. I just wish bungie would recognize inferno and always have a 6 man option each week.

  • I believe Mayhem is going to be the same, coming and going. It would be nice if they just kept one of the mayhem/inferno modes on all the time though. I guess the crucible director is more streamlined now, so they might have a better play to put it now too.

I hope that's the case, I understand them being apprehensive about adding way too many game modes but I think each unique game mode deserves a consistent playlist. They did announce a constant elimination so maybe that's a step in the right direction.

  • If I had to guess, I'd say they're adding the constant Elimination so that people will be able to practice for trials or whatever. It's certainly a step in the right direction, regardless of why they do it. I can kinda see where they're coming from though. Mayhem and Inferno are ultimately just modifiers on an existing game mode like Clash or Skirmish, while things like Elimination and Rift are a game mode in and of themselves, with different ways to win. Still though, if not both Mayhem or Inferno at the same time, one slot switching between them would be nice.
