Hmmh
This kills my
Jolder's Hammer
Efrideets Spear (not a final round, a field scout 6 shooter)
The Conduit, base of 6 bursts makes field scout mandatory
Why not just convert all field scout into Extended Magazine or Casket Mag? These perks exist post vanilla, trading to them would put your old guns on at least equal footing
As opposed to the current method of straight downgrade
They must really want those old guns deleted, but don't have the guts to just delete our vaults
So they just sabotage them and give us the illusion of choosing to give them up

All those weapons u just complained about are null and void come ttk release. You're telling me that you'll still use those old weapons when they can't cut it with year 2 damage? If you do you'll fall behind in light level due to year 1 damage on them. I'm assuming you realize this. So let me ask why complain? In 5 days it won't matter anymore.

Crucible

That's what they are trying to finally balance weapons and when they attempt to you all still complain. Wow just Wow.

World of Warcraft? Not my style

Let me throw out an example for you. If you go into crucible and use a auto with around 27 in the clip and you can hit critical shots with more than half your shots, you can take out two players before reloading. A bigger clip isnt required. And all it's actually doing is being a crutch to those that can't hit their shots. Therefore awarding the baddies.

Well, I think that is very close to the reason, but the real reason is the House of Wolves weapon perks. They wanted perks where you had to choose range over stability or magazine size over range. The older perks just stacked weapons into powerhouses. They would have still wrecked new players coming into Destiny year two and beyond. This is a crucible thing. My 27 round 170 light Cryptic Dragon is a beast in crucible...now it's back to 19 rounds which is still good for a scout rifle but at 27 rounds I could finish off a whole team without reloading. They are nerfing the old perks so these weapons don't wreck year two and beyond players in the crucible. I get it but I don't like it either.
