If you are having issues with downloading Patch 2.0 on the PS3, please ensure that you have enough space for the patch. For PS3, you’ll need closer to 20GB free for the required update during installation, and then about 10GB free for the required update after installation. If you do have enough space on your hard drive and are encountering problems with the download, please reply to this post with the specific error code you are receiving.

I got my 500 gb at Christmas and Have really only played destiny on it. Recived error code 5 times today.

Passing the buck... I will reiterate I am ONLY HAVING THIS PROBLEM WITH DESTINY CONTENT, NO OTHER CONTENT FROM PS STORE IS UNSUCCESSFULLY DOWNLOADING, AND QUICKLY, AT THAT.

Same error issue for me: this is the third attempt in THREE HOURS of me trying to download the 2.0 update. First time I made it to 5% then it cut off. Second time went up to 10% (highest yet) before it mysteriously cuts off. Now, the third time, up to 8% before it's going to inevitably cut off and blame my router and internet connection again. I've got a 1.5 yr old super slim 500gb ps3, so it's definitely not my ps3: it only has about 5 games installed on it, so plenty of space.

Error code 80710723 on a wired connection with 15-20 Mbps download speed. On a positive note, the mobile app update looks great.

May go back to COD[/quote] Timer is now going back up. Just upgraded internet today before download. And I have a 500GB ps3. I know I have space and its not my internet connection!!!!!!! Stop giving the same answers bungie!!!!

I'm not sure if I'm the only one but my whole game got corrupted and I can't even load destiny anymore. What do i do? It is the digital version by the way

if it is the digital version you will be told to uninstall all data for destiny then to redownload and install the game. from there youll have to get all the updates again. wait for this though, because after you have reinstalled destiny you still have to get the 1.13 update(2.0). that is the download that the ps3 community is having trouble with and so you will go from one sunken ship to a new sinking ship
