You must like stroking your internet ego. Personally I like the mercy rule. Ends obviously bad games faster allowing everyone to play more. It also prevents people from joining into bad games where they will obviously lose. Comebacks are very rare in these matches. Don't pretend like they happen a lot. Because they don't.

Internet Ego? What a joke xD I just play with my friends and nothing is more exciting than when we pull it together in the end. It's a feeling of tenseness and intense competition, something Destiny severely lacks outside of Trials of Osiris. In other FPS games, I love the rush of pulling ahead and the nail biting intensity of trying to prevent them from getting their last couple kills. In Destiny, when you win or lose, I'm rarely excited or say "Yeah! Good job guys, pulled it off." The wins and losses are just lacking in intensity. It's not 'ego stroking,' it's them taking away part of what I believe was a redeeming quality of the Crucible

turning a match around at 19000 to 400-4000 is what they are talking about. you're not turning that around. this is not a jab at you or your teams skill. you will still turn around the average 8000-5000, thats reasonable, but the first on is lost, just let everyone move on.

You haven't even seen the Mercy Rule in action you don't know when it kicks in or anything so please tell me how you know for a fact comebacks can't be made? Also the comeback medal doesn't reward you for making a 3000 point comeback it rewards you for winning after being down in the last 30 seconds before the match ended.
