Year 2 stuff hope-list

This isn't some "bungie look at me wouldn't it be cool if" or "bungie u suk listen 2 me I no wats bettur 4 Destiny" kind of thing. This is just some observations and ideas on balance, exotics, primaries, and so on. My first stop is exotics in general. It sounds like year 2 has some of this, but there's the idea of upgrading exotics or crafting different variants that won't drop, they must be forged, for example the new black Suros Regime may not drop, a year 2 stat version of the old school Suros Regime drops, the new variant must be /forged/ anew. My only actual suggestion as it comes to new exotics is to restore the titan's nobility as the highest toughness. Some kind of torso that grants +3 toughness and extra heavy ammo. I think the rest of the exotic armor is spot on, I can't really think of anything that isn't really overpowered. However, I do believe that there are some exotics that could have some interesting variants. I won't even try to come up with cool variant names so, it'll just be "II" for the names I apologize, I only have a titan at the moment. So these are all Titan exotics. I'm so sorry. The main exotic idea from earlier Titan Chest Ram "Mk.500 Iron Chariot" Those who built the wall must learn to be walls themselves -Commander Zavala to Titan initiates Intellect Stat Grants heavy ammo Grants +3 toughness The variant ideas are simple A purely ammo based Armamentarium, or a different variant that has double grenades and double melee, but missing one or both of its ammo buffs. feedback fence alternative: Grants the radial burst perk for Any titan melee skill (forgot what it was called for Storm fist) but reprograms the plating on the arms to not go off for melee impacts anymore. Not gonna get into my other exotic ideas, yours are probably a tad better balanced. I have too many for tonight, anyhow! Maybe later. My main deal is Primaries, namely the beautiful exotic primaries I have grown to love! It feels like some of them lack something. There's a total lack of elemental damage for most of them, save for the 2 Raid primaries, which have their other issues. I hope that Year 2 exotic primaries can be forged into elementals, even if that process is grueling and irreversible (as in chose an element and you're stuck with it forever unless you earn a second [insert cool year 2 exotic here] and do the whole shenanigans all over again) it would be nice to have some more elementals. It feels like the game has too few sources of elemental primaries, they are almost too rare and not as cool as they are just a hassle to try to obtain. The main reason people are a little butt-hurt that you're leaving behind the old legendaries is just the fact that it's been so hard to find our beloved vision of confluences and our gorgeous Fang of Ir yuts and our elusive Fate Bringers. That's really it. We cherish any primary we get that has a funny colored damage type because it's so helpful to not have a sad little grey icon that says "kinetic" like all of those sad little level 3 weapons we had 12 months ago. Again, this may promote the idea of multiple versions of exotics, wether that's armor or any slot of weapon, I'd like to see some personalization and tuneability My third section is mentioning how the new subclasses seem to far outperform the old ones in both power and flair. I love both the Titan and Warlock classes we already have, and rather don't mind Gunslinger. I think the old classes need rebalance work because for one. there's some overpowered stuff they can do that is just annoying, like the blink maneuvers, which I hear you're already looking into, but other than that, they don't seem to compare to the Hammer of sol and the darth Siddeous supers, they're just so... So... space-Magic meets friggin' metal, bruh. Who doesn't wanna be Thor or the Sith emperor?! I think Fist of panic needs a minor buff, and overall In-super extra toughness needs a slight nerf. It's a little absurd sometimes. Bring something back to the Voidwalker, it feels like some of the player base is abandoning it. Titans need some love. I'm a titan player and don't have much time for a second character (as much as I love warlocks!) and feel a tad neglected at times, a tad underpowered and under appreciated. Doesn't stop me from going ham on people when the Ironic banana comes around, lord salad pants has graced me with a good bit of Etheric light even with my insane work schedule. He gave me a Felwinter's Sniper rifle for my birthday! It sounds like a lot of this is in the works, but I hope I've added or shed a different light on something you're already considering or working on. Your old, old friend, and fellow Spartan/Guardian/Cyborg, Rowan Gallagher, TekQ II
