I've just started bringing a sniper into the crucible, so thank you for the advice, I'll certainly try it out. I've yet to get a headshot in the crucible with a sniper rifle xD
Thankfully the RoF on my sniper is enough that I can take two successive body shots. But as you mentioned practice makes it better. Another thing I have to work on is being a bit more aggressive. As right now, I feel I am standing in one place or one area more with the sniper ready kind of thing.

Hey, thanks for your comment. Cool to see you're interested in trying something new! Try to go for those headshots, even if you can shoot them in the body twice, as headshot is an immediate takedown. If you miss and land a bodyshot, so be it - you can decide what to do then, but practice to land headshots. About your second paragraph: Have you checked out the next episode? It's about movement. You should never just stand around and be zoomed in. You're not helping your team nor will you get many kills. Try to be on the move - not too offensively - but to cover some nice sniperlanes and apply the stuff from the first episode. Let me know how it worked out for you! Cheers, mate.

Edited by feigny: 9/2/2015 7:32:56 AMOh, I'm generally objectively focused, and if I see nothing on the radar, I won't linger long in the area. Staying down the scope would certainly be a bad thing for me for sure. XD What I meant to say was just trying to snipe more on the fly. Sort of the unpredictability of the fight sort of thing. I've got a number of different ascended and unacended sniper rifles, so I'll be playing around with a bunch of them I think. Ttk is coming out pretty soon, so I will have new guns to try out. I've watched the vids and they're quite helpful for sure!
