Seriously why do people get offended by T-bagging? Its pixels moving up and down on a screen If someone was actually putting their balls in your face I'd understand why you'd be upset. Bungie basically invented T-bagging as we know it. Sorry if my pixelated character crouching and standing back up offends you. But if that offends you I dread to think what else does. It's a harmless joke. Try a bit of humour sometimes.

  • Here folks we have the internet tough guy in his natural habitat. Why do people get annoyed by teabagging? Because it's disrespectful and shows no class and is poor sportsmanship. Not everyone wants to be a degenerate like you. STAY HUMBLE.

  • T-bagging goes way back my friend , COD started it all. There was no t-bagging day 1 in this game until now . It has become more common in destiny ever since Osiris opened. Now everyone and there ghosts are t-bagging.

I started playing Halo games when I was what, 14-15? Now I'm 28, and I always thought it was kind of disrespectful, as much as in any kind of competitive event I dare you to flip the finger towards the other team without starting what I would call a showcase of physical manliness. I don't care if it goes way back, like I wouldn't make the apology of calling a black person ''-blam!-'' for old times' sake. Those are sad excuses. Just saying.

  • Agreed. It's usually pretty funny. Even when you are receiving it. People even get offended by the other team waving at the end of a match. It's laughable to get offended by something that insignificant lol.

Got teabagged by some twats who kicked a team mate from the game. Then the two of us turned it into 3-1 so they kicked me too and continued to teabag my one friend who ended up 23/5 against them, but couldn't finish out rounds sadly so ended up losing 3-5. Teabagging doesn't mean nothing, It's a blatant sign of hostility and disrespect. It's like kicking someone in the balls after a game of sport rather than shaking their hand.

  • Only if you let it be like that. Yes they were asshats, they deserve a kick in the balls. But an everyday normal player who T-bags isn't an asshole. Those who get annoyed by T-bagging need to grow up and realise it's nothing more than a game, nothing more than Pixels moving up and down on a screen.

Saying stuff online is just pixels is the dumbest argument. Real people control the actions, make choices. You deal with real people everyday online, not npcs.

  • How is getting upset over a game a dumb argument? Why would you get upset over pixels? The only reason I can think of is either you need to go outside for a bit, or you need to grow up a bit and realise that it's not affecting you in any way. Games have a mute/block button, real life does not.

    1. You have no right to tell people what can and can't upset them. 2. People like you are the reason kids are still killing themselves over cyber bullying. Stop trying to justify the actions of arseholes online by saying 'just get over it'.

  • 1. You have no right to tell me what I can and cannot say. My opinion, your opinion. 2. Children who kill themselves because of Cyber bullying I have no time for. Sorry to sound harsh and blunt but I don't care. Chances are if they killed themselves due to online activity, they already had mental issues to begin with. Not saying the bullies should get away scot free, they're still terrible people. But Our society is MAKING them victims, instead of telling them to stand up to the bullies and fight back, they're being told to run and hide and tell an adult or teacher etc. Instead of appearing as cowards, they should appear just as bravely as them. If you killed yourself because somebody on the internet told you, you're a bigger idiot than you think. The internet has block and mute buttons for a reason, you can report abuse for a reason. Being honest here, your life is never in a bad enough place for you to end it. (Mental issues that effect you in ways are fair game, they have no control there so I won't count them in this statement, things like PTSD, they have reasons, even if they wouldn't normally act on them.) There are people all around the world starving, who have watched their families die in front of them and have being abused and beaten all their life. Yet most of them don't kill themselves. But a few drama queens who get negative attention online suddenly think they should end their life. Lets be honest, if you try killed yourself because somebody T-bagged you online, you're pretty stupid, childish and might want to reconsider some things in life. Words can only hurt you if you let them, if you let words get to you, that is your fault and your fault alone. The people doing it are still assholes, but you're almost as bad for blaming them, when it's your fault that the words effect you. I've had verbal abuse all my life, some even physical. Did I try to kill myself? No Did I breakdown with mental issues? No It hardened me. Words of abuse just bounce off me now, you're seriously hard pressed to find something that will offend me. And everyone is capable of that. Not just a few, everyone. If you kill yourself because of something that can be blocked, muted and reported. That's natural selection at work

You don't get it do you? You can not tell another person how they should feel. EVER. You have no right to tell a person to be happy, or be sad. Their life and experiences are their own. Yes, we are fine at copping banter and abuse in our daily lives and dishing it right back out, but others are not. You don't know somebody's situation. Also never, ever use the 'other people have it worse' excuse, because telling someone to get over it, others have it worse. Is the same as telling someone to stop being happy or joyful because others have it better. This isn't an argument, this is you displaying you're pure, unadulterated apathy. Now stop trying to tell other people how to feel.

  • I just find it to be a douche mood. I hate bad sportsmanship in general. Not something I'm angered by. I remember some kid tea bagged me at the start of a game once. Went on to have more points than his entire team in that skirmish match and teabagged, waved, etc. every time I killed him. Paired up with him the next game and I did it again. It's fun dishing people their own medicine.

I have yet to get offended by a middle finger however that is in real life, not a game If you are being offended by words from strangers online, that is quite different from it being someone you know in real life. Real life doesn't have a mute and block button. Games do. Why do people get offended by anything? It clearly differs from person to person. Me myself? You'll have to try exceptionally hard to offend me. Others? Maybe not so much, but getting offended by pixels, things on a screen, things that have a mute/block button. Are a hell of a lot different from real life offenses. Poor comparison on your part.

  • What I'm talking about is in-game offenses. Middle finger in Destiny? Good luck Being offended by words? Mute/block Offended by anything? Re-read what I typed. Poor comparison.

  • It's not that most are offended by tea-bagging, it's just not good sportsmanship. Everybody playing Trials of Osiris is there for the same reason. If you feel that you need to teabag in the fictitious environment of Destiny, then you must have feel like you have something to prove, in the real world or otherwise. Tea-bagging is just not good gaming etiquette, whether you are the perpetrator or victim, it matters not. I personally enjoy playing all forms of crucible. Though, when the toxic players enter my lobby it ruins the atmosphere and the game no longer becomes fun. Whatever happened to people just playing a game for fun? I understand that Destiny and other games can be quite competitive. If you let the actions of others get to you, then you become no better than they are. Play the game for fun or don't play at all
