After an hour of walking towards the encampment, Sri and I finally reached our destination... and were greeted with a cynical attitude. "Well look who it is!" Amelia barked at us. "Glad you could rejoin us, School girl." She still looked pissed and got into Sri's face very quickly. Sri narrowed her gaze and glared back. "You'd think I'd let you have the satisfaction of seeing me leave? Your even dumber than I thought." Amelia's fists tightened and she growled angrily. No sparks flew so her super was still recharging which was a good thing. I sighed. Looking up, I saw Rex watching from the trees and Laurentine's collapsed form in another. Neither moved a muscle or spoke a word. The argument raged as I sat down by Angelica, who's eyes were a bit puffy and red. "She been like this the whole time?" She nodded and wiped her eyes. "Yep... She even yelled at me for not doing anything..." I patted her head gently and pulled her next to me. She leaned her head against my shoulder and clutched onto my arm as she always did. Her eyes closed and tried to calm down as the warmth of her body began to enfuse with my arm. I smiled and looked back up at Amelia and Sri. "Why should I be lead by the two of you?!" Amelia said as she harshly poked Sri in the shoulder. "I can lead as well." "Yea right. I couldn't believe you have skills to lead." Sri rolled her eyes and rubbed her shoulder. "What makes you say I can't?" "Because you lead on impulse and rage. Atleast I can control them." "Oh sure sure just like you controlled yourself when you went off and cried on a corner!" I simply raised my eyebrow and looked back at her. She looked at the ground and sighed. She looked back at Amelia with a calmer expression. "I get it, I'm not fit to be any sort of role model or leader because of my actions. What I did was unexcusable and I'm sorry. I came back so we could work together from now on. But as it stands, your job is to kill while mine is to make plans and lead along with Josiah. So let's try to make this work alright?" Amelia stared at her dumbfounded. She obviously wasn't expecting that. She tried to speak but gave up. She walked off and sat at the edge of the encampment, grumbling to herself. Sri looked at me and Rex. I simply smiled and nodded. Rex slight movement and glance at Sri showed some form of respect and what can aquate to mild glee from an early Exo. Sri smiled big and sat down on a root, thinking of more plans and ideas. I scanned the tree line and kept watch as we settled in for the time being. Before I could even think, something sprang up behind me. Rex's quick reflexes managed to fire off a round from his hand cannon. The bullet wizzed by my head as the thing took a detour over Angelica and landed in the middle of the encampment. Everyone was now staring there with weapons drawn. It was an Exo hunter, female to be precise due to the extra additions to the breastplate and waist to exaggerate them. Her skin was a mix of white and blue markings and her eyes shown a brilliant gold. Her abnormally large hunting knife was drawn and her face and body began contourting to a pouting stance. "Rexxy why do you have to ruin my fun everytime!" She pointed the knife at him. "Why do you have to be such a sore loser! Lighten up!" Rex simply grunted and pointed his hand cannon at her. Laurentine sat perfectly still with his weapon drawn.
