My thoughts?
Mass Effect was a beta for ME 2
Witcher was a beta for Witcher 2
You get where I'm going.
Games expand and evolve with each sequel.

Those arent great examples. This is still destiny. Not a sequel. Once destiny 2 comes out then I'd be like your example.
Those arent great examples. This is still destiny. Not a sequel. Once destiny 2 comes out then I'd be like your example.
My thesis remains valid. Each subsequent release brings about changes to the game for the better. Much of which is based on feedback. Destiny's biggest enemy has been time. With vanilla, by the time the big issues were able to really be fleshed out (forever 29, no weapons ascension for example ), TDB was just about complete. Not much they could do. But when HoW dropped, they took steps to correct it by selling the raid gear and earning E-Light. Issues like would not persist in games released 1-3 years apart, as the devs would have ample time to see ALL the missteps and correct them without the players feeling like they're being ignored.

The thing is most of the mistakes could have been avoided. Almost half of the new stuff they're implementing should have been in the base game. For example vault space.

From Variks in the reef. You buy it with an armor core earned from completing PoE 32.

Lol. That's not raid gear. IMO raid gear comes from one of the two raids. That House or Judgement stuff isn't even raid quality if you ask me. But who am I to judge...the house of judgement.

Lol. Your absolutely right. I think I should've said endgame gear...
