Had I known this before HOW came out I would have skipped playing any of the content more than one time. I would have gotten the dead ghosts, beaten skolas, gone flawless once, collected any grimore (all of which was done the first two weeks) and then not played any of it until TTK. This is gonna happen again next year too. Everything we worked to earn will be gone. If these new weapons were supposed to provoke us to try new things that's how it should have been done. If they're really so much better we would have decided that on our own. They need to allow ascension of everything no matter what. Wasting our time with a shit DLC is kind of an insult

  • When a developer tossed around word that a game isn't an MMO and you buy into it, that's not really Being a casual gamer.

  • It's not an actual, typical mmo. The movie qualities is does have do not lend to just stripping a player of all they've earned. Yeah lose a special staff or dagger in warcraft in year 2. That thing didn't define how you play.

  • People here are complaining that will they worked for will be useless. I agree that weapons shouldn't stay behind but some things do have to be left behind in order to progress. Also you play to gear up and enjoy that time being somewhat powerful until the next expansion drops. After it drops, you start over again and become a lot more stronger than before.

  • I had a chat with my buddy and we both though it would be reasonable if end game and raid set gear were made into a seperate type of gear with a red background rather than purple for example and that it should always be ascendable. The rest of the junk could be made obsolete or they can add in transmog and solve all of the issues with armor.
