Answer: No The focused light bonus only applies to xp and it takes place of your nightfall xp bonus. You will still receive your rep bonus from the night fall while using the focused light. I have determined that the xp gained from public event packages is 2500. I have determined this by opening and applying the xp from the public event packages to several different blue and legendary weapons before the night fall and after. the problem is that several different websites have different values for filling up the first circle on some of the weapons.
