Isn't the rarest emblem supposed to be the 7 coins in the tower emblem?
Bungie said they'd give it to the first person who made a post about it and shared all 7 photos of their locations. I left the game at the end of November, and at the time, I think 4-6 coins were found. Now that there are guides for all 7, I'd assume someone posted and won the coins, but I never found much information on the aftermath.
Edit: if no one has done this yet (as per their rules), I suppose someone could theoretically win it now.

Edited by Feigny: 8/17/2015 7:41:28 AMI found the weekly update where they talk about it, and the reward being an emblem. I also found a Bungie twitter update where they mention a user named SlumDawgy showing pics of all 7 coins. Though his profile does not show the coin emblem (I'm assuming he's just not using it though), but at the same time, they didn't actually mention that he'd won either. EDIT: In the news article, it specifies that whoever finds all 7 coins, post in that new article thread and show images of all their locations. I don't think that condition was ever met, and we can't actually go into commenting, or viewing the comments on that article anymroe.

I remember when they first posted that article. I found a coin by the speaker. If I remember right the winner got the, 'Sign of Opposing Will".
-
Huh. Interesting. I might actually find all 7 using a guide and post the locations here. Let's see what happens

Posting it in this thread may be futile as there are already a few other threads detailing their locations as well. What I've noticed is that right now it seems that posting comments to news articles are bugged (even viewing them), and that's where it needs to go. So not sure other htan that.
-
Not bugged. Intentionally disabled.
-
Huh... I sure did miss a lot. XD

They disabled comments I think around Christmas time or shortly after, because of all the asshats. Basically all the complaints people make on the forums here were dumped on every single article regardless of what articles they were, with only a fraction of comments actually being relevant to the topics.

Edited by Cyanide: 8/17/2015 7:50:46 AMOh I know that, I mean make my own thread. But I already see people coming forward like "I already did this."

So unless if they fix being able to post comments on news articles, we're SOL xD
