Stay Positive, Guardians

Hey, everyone As I'm sure many of you are well aware; Xûr sold the coveted Gjallarhorn this weekend, and with that came along many mixed emotions and reactions. If you spend enough time on this forum you will discover that the community is more divided now than ever before. Many of our fellow Guardians feel betrayed by Bungie for having invested X amount of hours into this game before ever receiving one Gjallarhorn, and consequently they do not wish to continue the journey into year two with us because those with much less time under their belt already have three of these prized weapons to utilize. While these reactions are understandable, they should not hold a candle over your experience in Destiny. Do not allow the negativity to dissuade you from an opportunity to enjoy this game. We are at just the beginning of what Destiny is yet to become, and many more disappointments lie in store for people who expect to receive [i]exactly[i] what they want, all the time. Destiny, like all other great projects with stellar ambitions, are works in [i]progress[i] and will not be perfect the first time. Nothing ever is. I, for one, truly do believe that the developers at Bungie wish to please their community. Do I agree with [b]every[b] choice they've made? Absolutely not! The exorbitant EU price for the new expansion, while legal, is very unfair. The vivisection of Destiny's original concept to be sold later as expansions; ridiculous. I get it, we all get it. However, this game has so much potential, and there is NO way of telling what greatness lies in store for the future of Destiny. The point of this lengthy thread is to hopefully persuade a few of you who feel unfairly treated by Bungie due to recent activity to just think about all the good before you make a decision purely based on the bad. There's more to come for Destiny, and I think the path is bright. Stay positive, Guardians.
