Not sure if you heard it or not, but there will be new exotics/legendaries next month in an update called The Taken King.
Then there will be more exotics/legendaries in the update after that and so on.

Of course i did, i was about to pre order But im sure only the desperate ones would have to since a lot of people will not buy stuff
