That is true... but destiny is very vast and all over the place with the story.... but I assume bungie may have meant for us to make our own stories from our experiences with the game... thus become legend... that mean you have to create your own legend

There's a series of missions called Story missions. They are interspersed with cinematic cutscenes and dialogue. The point of a campaign like that is to tell a story. Stories are meant to have a beginning, middle, and end with character development and related plot points. That's where Destiny's story was mediocre at best. The things that happened were never really explained, we didn't know the motivations of our character, and there was no character development. That's what was wrong with the story.

Except the dark below and house of wolves, that had nearly zero dialogue and zero cutscenes explaining anything. Not to mention, we didn't even see the Queen, wtf have a reef/fallen specific dlc that has zero of the biggest character out of the reef in it. Hell we didn't even see the Queens brother.

Well yeah. More evidence of Destiny simply having a bad story. That's my point. I interpreted the OP as saying that Destiny has a good story even though we can't understand it, which is absurd. A bunch of disjointed shooting galleries with clumsily delivered exposition does not a good story make.

Exactly, that's why I love games like elder scrolls (skyrim and morrowind ftw!) deep deep story and lore that can keep you hooked for years..
