So much truth! The only people that are ok with all these new TTK updates are either noobs or straight up -blam!-ing idiots! Ive gotten a lot of hate for how critical i am about this game. I dont give a shit, just like bungie and all the devs dont give shit about any of you. Have fun playing TTK when it comes out, ill play it when is all free. For now ill just keep beating you at pvp, Cheers.
Says he wants real outcome Calls everyone fanboys when he gets it -_-

5 RepliesI really want to keep my adept jewel of Osiris, very frustrating to get and only just got black hammer last week for first time. Other than that I'm completely ok with the future obsolete weapons.
-
Even this poll is biased. We aren't LOSING anything. You'll still be able to use old weapons. It's just that the new ones will have a higher damage.
-
6 RepliesThe reason they are making all of the previous weapons obsolete is because they realized how bad they messed up with Year One. They are trying to create an entirely new experience for all players. Destiny is an MMO, you can't deny that fact. These sorts of things happen all the time in MMOs. The same thing is probably going to happen next year too. If you play simply to get all the weapons and gear, then you aren't playing for fun. It's a game, and games are meant to be enjoyed. Truthfully this is just my opinion and I don't want to force it upon you, but I want you to realize that this game is going to continue for a long time. If the same weapons stick around forever, the game would be boring and monotonous. By prohibiting ascension for each year, everyone gets to play a new game and have a new experience.
-
7 RepliesCant believe people are actually ok with no ascending
-
One screwed up year of patches that screw up the game over and over . Out look for bungie this year? They will probably repeat the same mistakes.
-
1 ReplyBoi I got my Vanquisher and hide and seek 42 I'm set
-
1 ReplyJust one big beta year 2 is the real game
-
Man everyone different I don't care just want something new that's it new weapons new gear new raid that what it about you don't want it stop crying an whining about other people it just a game man. Think like this universal studios 149$ for 1 day both parks for one day yea it fun but you only get one day people complain about gettin new weapons an gear that you'll use for a year for $40 compared to parks an actual reality you know stuff you go outside cost more to do than video game. Think some people need to go on vacation an not being there consoles you know what I mean
im just sayin I read a lot ppl crying about this that an the third realistically everyone has own opinion just giving mine
-
1 ReplyTo me year one was like a bad dream. I welcome any method they can use to erase this trifecta of pathetic content and game execution. Bring on the bigger and better.
-
1 ReplyI'm not so mad about the pve part as I am the pvp part. I mean there are a lot of legendaries that I absolutely live for crucible like my perfect two to the morgue or my longbow. Now they will only work in normal crucible and not in IB and trials. I really hate having to replace them
-
3 RepliesYou used said weapon you grinded for right? It doesn't matter that your oh so godly fatebringer won't be viable in TTK. Stop using the same goddamn weapon, when this dlc comes out there will be bigger and better things. Just deal with it and play the game for fun.
-
Idk about other vets, but I'm burnt out on using the same guns for almost a year.
-
I'm ok with it because I can move on, adapt, and accept change. This is like a clean slate for Destiny. And I'm exited (you heard me, exited) to dismantle guns.
-
5 Replies1. Id probably rash on your life in crucible. 2. If you're complaining about no vanilla weapons, you obviously haven't played the other dlc. 3. Suck it up piss baby.
-
I'm not complaining on the forums but I stopped playing this game because of that.
-
Don't agree with the weapons becoming nearly useless. This isn't a traditional mmo, where weapons only ever have stat progression. The weapons in destiny are what make your playstyle. And let's be honest here, the "new" weapons are just gonna be old weapons, reskinned, that we have to level again. And people are ok with this? Lol, laughable.
-
6 RepliesI'm going to stick to being a pvp player. There's no point collecting everything if we're just going to delete things we've grinded for. Example: Your house of wolves weapons only got to be 2 months old before being obsolete. And that's if you got your weapon day 1.
-
my eyes and ass git f*cked cause of this games
-
I don't care about the weapons.. But my armor. :,(
-
I like how in your other post your like "good luck on the unbiased poll" then this happened. Lol
-
1 ReplySo far, I'm optimistic about the changes coming with TTK. I was a day one preorder player and I was really disappointed that the game turned out to be a grind fest, instead of the epic RPG I imagined. Obviously I played anyway and enjoyed it, but here are my thoughts on TTK. A: If TTK leaves year one weapons in the dust but loot acquisition has a more RPG feel to it, great! I say it's a step in the right direction. B: If TTK phases out year one loot and it's just destiny's way of making you RNG grind all over again, with weekly resets, boo! That is lazy. Keep us playing with more content, not limiters on current content! But that's just my 2 cents. PS, I always thought VoG loot looked sick so I'm bummed about losing my armor haha. But I'll get over it.

If Bungie never put Etheric Light in HoW, then there wouldn't be any whiners about leaving Legendaries behind. But you all became spoiled by the power to bring your old guns up to the new max, so you feel betrayed. I wasn't expecting for something like Ascension in Destiny, and now I understand why it shouldn't have been a thing. If you give a mouse a cookie...
-
Excuse me for having a different opinion
-
It's good that they're not letting us take our old weapons with us. They tried it in HoW, and it was nice, but since I could ascend my weapons to be just as good as the others, I stopped caring about loot drops from everything I did. Right now, I'm playing a looting game where I don't care about the loot, and that's just not fun.
i want to use real Vanilla guns like Shadow Price and The Devil You know. Not all the time, when i want to. ]
You can still keep them and use them, they never said its going away
