It isn't the end of the world, I just wish my favorite weapons that I had to grind for are going in the garbage...it is more about the memories of the guns and how they will never be liable weapons anymore...I would be okay if all the stats moved down by 2% each on old weapons so they are still useable still

The weapons will still viable in standard Crucible and lower level content but for the new stuff you'll have to use the new weapons they have spent time designing. I only see this as a good change. Yes I could sit and demand my Fatebringer gets brought forward year on year, or I could embrace the new weapons since it'll make the game fresh again!

I could care less about raid weapons, I'm talking about the weapons I have grown to love. The weapon few with have and I love to use in PvE

So let's say you love Shadow Price, a great auto rifle pre-nerf; this weapon should be good again with the new weapon balancing in Crucible and should be viable for some PVE content. However for the higher level stuff you should need to use the new weapons. The level cap is six levels above current and those weapons shouldn't be viable against level 40 enemies anymore. There may be a weapon in TTK such as the Hakke auto rifle that you like more than Shadow Price. Don't be upset about not carrying weapons forward, be excited what the new weapons will be like!

I will not, my weapons look amazing and I spent so much time trying to get them. Then they just make it useless, I didn't complain about the dark below because they where still useable, but now they are useless...might as well throw it away!

So the solution for you is to not buy TTK and continue to play Destiny in it's current state for the rest of the franchise while we move forward with the new weapons into Year 2 and beyond.
