Which expansion is better
Which expansion do you feel is the best. I no longer need to decide which one to buy

The dark below had a raid and better weapons. House of wolves brought bad weapons, tiresome Poe and trials of Osiris is barely a part of the expansion.

2 RepliesHow the -blam!- is HoW better? Let's look at two major things. End game PvE and guns. Crota is what better than PoE and the guns are actually useful. I guess we got a lot of trials fan boys in here. That's the only explanation.

Honestly the people who didn't buy HoW got more gameplay out of it than the people who bought it. Don't believe me? Here is my explanation, and it's rather long winded, skip to the bottom if you want to see the TL;DR of it. So first off, the people who bought HoW we're at 34 by the end of week one at least, and we're likely finished with PoE by week 4 at the VERY latest. Indeed, a lot more content was added with HoW for the people who paid, but they cleared the content so quickly that it was not fun at all, and didn't last long. The people who DIDN'T buy HoW had to grind nightfalls to get esthetic light, and yes, there were likely a few who got all the esthetic light they needed in less than 3 weeks, but the majority would likely have to grind for ages to get esthetic light. Of course, iron banner came with esthetic light, so it made getting it slightly more efficient, but it doesn't change that almost everyone who bought the dlc finished everything in less than a month. TL;DR: people who bought the dlc took less time to hit 34 than those who didn't, meaning it required more gameplay to get to 34.

Dark Below I personally think was much better, now I'm gonna start off by saying that yes the HoW dlc was approached much better but most of what made HoW great was free content not actually part of the dlc, DB was better purely because of the raid alone and the fact that the game kept you grinding for a month to get to level 32 whereas with HoW I had 3 34's by the weekend it came out and was very unsatisfied with how stale and boring is quickly became.

I think I enjoyed dark below more because of the raid However, HoW was very necessary addition as it added something worthwhile in pvp (trials) and let us ascend our stuff. Also I enjoyed PoE
