As a Christian, I have and never will deny evolution or science because I believe that that's how God brings order to what He created. In my opinion, the creation stories are meant to be metaphorical and each "day" represents millions of years of time, and God brought every animal, plant, and organism into being through evolution. I am by no means a "creationist" in the sense that I deny evolution.

Logically you can not believe in evolution and the bible. According to the bible death was not in the world until the fall of man. Which as it says you would need man to sin. So it would logically be impossible for animals to die off before man would come about to sin. Even if the animals didn't die off (which also couldn't logically happen.) the amount of time that it would take for man to evolve there would be a major over population on the earth. Although this couldn't logically happen because they have found fossils of things and stuff. I'm too tired to explain but I normally would.

I learned there are two sub types of creationists. A hard creationist interprets the a literally true with life coming about in 6 days. A soft creationist is one who believes in evolution, but also believes that God guides it.

Even the pope accepts the big bang and evolution as true.
