Can't wait to see how they'll tone it down to protect the children and avoid triggering the SJW's.

eh, arkham asylum wasn't great to begin with. the hidden scarabs at least revealed scenes from the book.
-
Arkham Asylum is probably Morrison's best comic but I dunno what that has to do with this.

i don't like the comics, for the most part. you talked about watering it down... it wasn't not that watery to begin with. most batman and superhero comics got watered down by conservative SJWs in the silver age and just before. batman was a no-nonsense playboy billionaire vigilante who fought mobsters in lethal shootouts by shooting back, then he got sold off and rebooted (the first time). some of them are good, but i find most of the really big comics/writers are pretentious pseudo-intelligent hacks with SJW messages and dues ex machina-out the ass mary sues as their only character style. some writers weren't as big but had much better styles. a few recentish ones i liked: way's deadpool was ultra-hilarious. ennis' punisher max was much better than the other universe versions. punk rock jesus is another good one. spawn is ok, not great.

You've never read Killing Joke, have you?
-
matter of fact, i have, since the flood recommended it. wasn't good. they also said watchmen was amazeballs, and it was only eh.
-
Ah, you're just a comics pleb. Nevermind then.
-
pleb? because i'm not easily impressed by tropes and betrayal? LOL. i don't like the SSDD shit that is the majority of everything shoveled out by both major labels. the good stuff is in their small titles(the wolf within was a great story based off of the fables comic by DC's vertigo brand) and image comics. said it before and i'll say it again: the best batman i've seen was some issue from the late 80s when batman was forced to team up with the second incarnation of Spectre, the hand of god and showed the joker his own soul, causing the atheist joker to start weeping and go catatonic with grief for months. correct me if i'm wrong nobody really remembers that author's guest run too good but IIRC, he was a former catholic priest who got disillusioned with his post and left.
pleb?
Mmmm, you don't understand the medium and think of it only in terms of basic narrative.
