People seem to think they're more macho for using a high sensitivity. The only advantage that a high sensitivity offers is the ability to turn around quickly. The ability to turn around quickly is not more important than accuracy. If you are constantly having to turn around quickly you may want to ask yourself why. Pro gamers across a wide variety of games use predominantly low sensitivities. There are exceptions but the majority of pros use a low sensitivity.

ADS is faster :\ and turning faster can help you get behind cover or hit someone behind you. Doubt pro gamers would limit themselves.

As far as I know you don't aim down sights faster with a higher sensitivity. There are advantages to having a higher sensitivity but they aren't more important than having excellent accuracy. Halo was by far the most skill based shooter for consoles and the majority of pros used low to medium sensitivity.

*facepalm* People, I swear. Look, aiming with ADS is faster. Wait.... that might still confuse you. Once you're aiming down your sights, then targeting with the right stick is faster. Always used high sensitivity in Halo, and still do good.

She's my nerd has it set on 2/3 from what I have seen but he uses a keyboard and mouse so maybe that's different.
