Several things:
1. You're right, Bungie has asked for a lot of money in the past for maps; but there is a difference between paying a little extra for goods and services for a company where you feel valued, and supporting a company that makes you feel peripheral.
2. Sols is a restaurant manager, so he knows a thing or two about engaging customers and making them feel valued. After all, a happy customer is a returning customer.
Happy customers also create a good reputation through media and word of mouth; which, in turn, leads to more business. Unsatisfied customers create a bad reputation the same way, discouraging business.
Myself, and may others, have not just spend time and money on a game, we have invested ourselves in Bungie and Destinys' outcome. A lot of us have been around since the Halo days and, in a sense, have been paying their bills for the last fifteen years; that being said, it's not unreasonable that they should be listening to us, unsatisfied customers and all. Speaking of which...
3. You seem to have your own misgivings about Bungie. How long will you stick around if your issues go unaddressed? How will you respond? Will you simply leave? Or will you post here with us and try to make a difference?
I'm here because I care about my investment, I care enough to raise my voice, and I criticize because I care. Do you?

Edited by EnoTrio: 7/26/2015 3:39:12 PMI'd like to sit down and have an intelligent conversation with Bungie someday, asking why their game turned out the way it did and what exactly is stopping them from achieving their original plan. But I think Bungie headquarters is like in Chicago or something so plane tickets cost too much for me to fly there. Edit: I replied to the wrong person. Sh!t.

Its in Washington. If it was in Chicago I would stop in and try to do that exact same thing.

Lol, it's okay, your post is still relevant. As for the conversation with Bungie, I think we should get in line.
