I don't think the "critics" or haters have fully grasped what is coming in The Taken King. For them they believe they are still owed something for buying Destiny in the first place. Just look at Lost Sols and all his posts. He believes Bungie owes him explanations for past DLC content becoming Nightly/Weeklies before he purchased the DLC. That he deserves matchmaking because it's demanded here all the time. Would anyone give into the demands of a psyche ward. It's more sane there than here. Also owed is an explanation from Deej about everything. None of these people want a conversation with Bungie. They want to interrogate them like they're Jack Bauer. It's very childish. You could ask them to keep it simple and sometimes they will acknowledge. But they won't do it. Give these raving lunatics the simple challenge of making an honest and clear request in the form of feedback, and you get Bungie needs to do this and that and this as well.
We're should both here on this forum to give feedback on this game. The difference is that I'm talking about Destiny and how it's failed and how it can be better and you're writing hate posts about me. The simple fact is that you and those like you are the only thing toxic on these forums. You can try to disguise your hate in fanboy pride all you want, you're just the forum equivalent of grade school bullies. You go post to post and instead of offering up reasons there shouldn't be matchmaking or justifying content lockouts, etc., you spew your vitriol in person attacks and your "get gud scrub" you put in your tags. So make all the sh**ty posts you want about people you disagree with, because when no one is left playing this game but you miserable filth, it will be a fitting end to what could have been an amazing game.

 • #bumbfortruth You know, as much as the OP, comes across as reasonable, I couldn't help but feel an undertone of what sols has described here, even before I saw sols had replied. In the feedback I read from sols specifically, he is also very reasonable in his posts. But just being reasonable isn't enough. Sols, from what I have read, gives honest heartfelt impressions of the game and some very good ideas to make its better place for the whole community. Where OP doesn't critique the game that #feedback is for, he instead chooses to critique specific players that do give warranted feedback on the game, and lumps anyone that is discontent into a group calling people entitled for simply caring enough about the game, and its potential, to spend the time to come here and make it known. For the record, in my opinion, when you purchase goods and/or services(in the case of destiny, it is both), you have every right to have expectations for your purchase. It would be stupid to buy something advertised as one thing, only to get another and not say something about it. If you get to the point where you no longer see value in your purchase than moving on is a reasonable conclusion, which many discontent players are told to do. However, if you still see value in something you spent your money on, yet it is not what you were told you were getting at the time of purchase, then most people don't feel like moving on is an option. They paid for the game, have fun playing it, see its potential, but also see all the things it is not but we're lead to believe it would be. That is precisely the purpose of a feedback forum. What I don't get? If you are one of the lucky ones, who are happy with the value for your purchase, why are you so concerned about the people that are not, that you would come here and post against them, rather than playing the game you are satisfied with? Go enjoy your purchase, and those of us who expect more will make that known, right here in #feedback, where those opinions belong.

 • This feedback forum is more like a mob than a community. Reddit and neogaf churn out more provoking points that represent the community's concerns. Link case in point, of which I wholeheartedly agree. But this forum has changed for the worse in the new year. Like you I believe this game could be a hell of a lot better. I still haven't preordered Taken King. The collectors edition mess is still a major barrier to me. Got my money's worth getting the collectors edition for my new PS4. But that's about it. This side of the forum is a madhouse. It wasn't always like this. "F U Bungie" can be found here every few minutes instead of hours. People were comical when asking for more vault space. Now they just yell. Any time Deej actually replies here is hounded with "F U's" and "die." Berated when every f'n point is not addressed their way. Doesn't go like that on reddit, and who could blame him. And no one is calling reddit Bungie sycophants. Their reaction to weapon balancing outdid this place. The point made repeatedly by others including Lost Sols and myself is this: Bungie seems disengaged with the community. And it has made this forum toxic.

Thank you for emphasizing the importance of quotes around here. Some people take to editing too much. I'm assuming that first line of your reply is you seeing red as you typed. Good luck with that. I'm not writing hate about you. Anyone can look at your last mega post of demands to Bungie and Deej concerning your past entitlements. As well as your flippant replies to anyone who doesn't agree with you to the very same degree. Case in point, "miserable filth." And #getgudscrub is a commentary on every "get gud scrub" post out there. As useful and likable as "when no one is left playing this game but you miserable filth, it will be a fitting end." Clearly your goal here is not to improve. I guess some men want to watch the world burn when their demands are not met. Unlike yourself, others have contributed actual feedback over the issue of this post: the value of the Taken King. But you took to ego instead. Let not stand one person who so-eth disagree-eth with Lost Sols-eth. If all is so terrible when someone doesn't see it your way, kindly try to mute them. But I guess you'd be left with nothing but the choir. I believe much of the toxicity here could change because of you. I don't mean shut up or anything like that. But simply finding a wiser tone to address your grievances. Not everything you say is disagreeable. And you have been reasonable... in the past. But the lack of communication from Bungie has made you difficult to tolerate. Posts drenched in 85% discontent, 14% malcontent, and 1% gold. Hard to polish that bit of gold with all that crud on it. You can do better. Unless this is your newfound hobby. In which case, adios. I also hash tagged #nerfwars and #keepittighttatum, but they didn't stay. Little sour about that.
