In response to the title of your post, TTK isn't value for money if you live outside of the U.S. UK price $63 more than 50% extra and also more than the vanilla game. Australia $70 which is 75% more than the US price. Vault space is down to poor design, they went for looks over practicality, could be easily fixed by say having pages, one for primary weapons, one fo special, etc or even stacking like they did with the ammo synthesis. My biggest criticism atm is the price, I refuse point blank to pay more for a dlc than I did for the original game, no matter what game or how good it is.

 • That international pricing is still shocking to me. I don't get how they haven't addressed that yet. Still have yet to buy it for the Xbox because of the confusing info over the collectors perks and exclusives. I hope everyone in Germany asks them about it at Gamescom.

 • They've been asked before but give such random answers they make no sense, same as the vault space one response was something like it's so technical you people wouldn't understand. This is why a conversation between Bungie and a community representative would fail horribly, the attitude of their representatives comes across as that they're better than us. The infamous Luke Smith interview is a prime example as well as the comments in the 2.0 patch notes about sitting at the back of the map sniping while eating a picnic. On to the subject of lost sols and others a lot of the points they raise are valid it's just the way it's delivered, you raised his points about the nightfall exclusion, this is one of the reasons that bungie gave for the ghorn nerf. Double standards on their part? I have been playing games for a very long time, hell I bought an Atari 2600 when they first came out, seen a lot of changes in gaming over the years, but nothing worries me as much as the trend that this game could set with the selling back content as expansions, which they have never confirmed or denied. The most worrying thing about this dlc is the secrecy, at least with TDB we were shown the raid and some weapons but the minimal amount they've revealed so far is very worrying indeed.

 • Maybe a double standard? I was thrilled to take on Tanics the mercenary week 2 of HoW. Thought I was getting my money's worth. I get the usual methodology from companies like Bungie is the new stuff gets its own playlist area and that's typically it. I don't know, maybe it is. As far as I can tell between consoles that exclusive stuff has not meant much to PS3/4 without it in the rotation for trials or nightfall/weekly. They're looking forward to that when it comes to Xbox. It is comprehensible that the people from Bungie talking to media have no say on content or pricing. That's not their job. But someone ought to step forward when Deej and others are hounded over the international pricing debacle. That's what I'm hoping for.
