Crucible is hard for me, how am I going to finish my Light in the Dark Exotic bounty to get Thorn?
So 2 nights ago I go an exotic bounty, but didn't know which exotic bounty would give me which gun, so I chose the first one "Light In the Dark", come to find out it's for Thorn. Yeayyyy, well not really, I have to get 500 points in crucible....I tried and I really really suck at it. What can I do?

Crucible is more balanced than ever. It should not be Hard mate. Camp a lot with a void shotgun, grab heavy with void Rocket or Machine gun and if voidwalker or defender titan or nightstalker just grenade and super the shiet out of everything. Be selfish and steal kills. Not that it is worth it now

I'm really not that great at PvP. I'm a hunter & I did the crucible portion last night in about 3 hours. I used word of crota, crouched, and cussed in frustration a lot. Lols. Good luck!

1 ReplyOk. -blam!-ing pro tip to everybody doing this god damn bounty.... Load up with the follow in primaries: [spoiler] -Atheon Epilogue, Void Osiris Weapon (you [i]probably[/i] dont have these, just listing this), Woe of Crota. -Void Shotgun/sniper (praedyth's is easy mode sniper). - CORRECTIVE MEASURE. - use your void sub class if you have one [/spoiler] The next step is to go into Skirmish. Why? Because its 3 on 3. Less chances of dying, with teammates to cover you. Get your kills and play smart. If you get an orb around the corner but the reviver is safe, let him grt the res, shotgun the reviver, then when the revived is in the vulnerable "I'm screwed" state, shotgun / snipe him. Its fee kills. Pull the heavy ammo when it drops (9:15 its announced. 9:00 on the dot it spawns. [b]Be there when it spawns[/b]. Make sure you keep your ass alive until the enemies rockets are gone. Once its safe (or decently safe) roam the map and slay using a corrective measure or a void LMG. I did this bounty three times. First was with an atheons epilogue and my titan sticky grenades (Control. Agonizing). The second time was A.E, Praedyth's and my grenades (Control. Easier but not cake). My third time was soley Corrective Measure slaying while in Skirmish (Skirmish. Using Striker subclass).

1 ReplyGo with an all void weapon load out, and void subclass if available since only void damage counts.

1 ReplyPlay a lot. You'll get better. People love to say "get good" ... you may not "get good" but you'll get better. If you are running Titan or Warlock, be sure to run the Void subclass as supers and grenades count. Don't play too aggressively, pick your battles. Play on Control maps ... this is definitely scrub advice, as the players are focused on capping zones and you can pick off stragglers. Don't be afraid of using a non void weapon occasionally ... better to get a few non void kills than extra deaths! Void shotties, void machine guns are your best bets. Uncommon weapons do just fine. You play crucible enough, a BTRD will probably drop ... roll it to be void and you're set. (I'm bad at sniping, but some people rock at it. Maybe you're one?) Word of Crota hand cannon is a big help. Atheon's Epilogue, not so much. Hope it helps. My first Thorn bounty took forever ... the second one wasn't near as unpleasant. (Bear in mind that the Xyor portion is no walk in the park either ... I recommend getting a team together for that as well)

1 ReplyTry and go in with a full fireteam. It's easier to have a group of friends try and funnel opposing players to you to take out. If no full fireteam try to get as many willing friends as you can. Communication is key. Aside from that just a ton of patients. Good luck sir. I managed to do it with little to no support... It took forever but it is possible.

3 RepliesJust hang back. Try to get assists. Don't run in, let the pro's do the heavy lifting, just try to help out as much as you can.
