They Are nerfing Black Hammer. Why would they Do that If you couldn't bring it to the year two damage Level? If it was stuck at 365, Nobody would use it Anyway After they've received TTK snipers.
Think about it. Why would they feel the need to nerf it If it wasn't upgradable?

They nerf things based on inclusiveness of the community and if a certain class/weapon is used too much. Do you honestly think that they think past their graphs and feelings? If you go by what they have done, we are all supposed to use AR's continuously since they are feeling neglected.

Why should they care what weapon/class of weapon that you are using? If they find out that left handed blow guns are being neglected, are they going to nerf everything else? They have added such wonderful features. The ones that come to mind are the overwhelming dreg and shank burns. Ummmm. If that's the type of features that HoW's was jam packed with, do we get to look for the thrall and acolyte burn guns in the TTK? People are far too willing to ignore the body of work done by Bungie to this point, and are blindly assuming that they are going to hit it out of the park this time. I hope you're right, but.

You argue like a woman. I'm not sure what the last two paragraphs have to do, at all, with your original post or my reply...

Yes, I do think they consider workload, and I do not think they would have put much thought or manpower into nerfing legendary weapons if they were only going to be relevant for another 60 days or so. . . Weapon workload is a nebulous standard to base weapon buff/nerf on. I simply added an over the top example of the standard taken to the extreme. I would add that discussing this with you reminds me of the way my ex-wife could look at an airplane and not understand that it was actually air that was keeping it airborne. Take some time and ask yourself why the company you seem to feel that you need to protect does anything.

Edited by Disco: 7/24/2015 7:27:32 PMCurrent weapons will be more than enough against EVERYTHING except the new RAID enemies and could actually be fine in the normal difficulty raid. Makes sense, no? 300 weapons were fine against Crota. They were fine in the story missions of TDB and HoW. Why would current weapons be any different in TTK?
-
365 attack weapons are effectively level 36.5 also
-
Oh yes, it does. But TTK is all about the Raid, and naturally everybody wants to Kick Oryx's Butt in hard Mode.
-
And you'll get raid weapons in normal raid to help with hard raid. As I said, current weapons, hopefully not exotics, will slowly get phased out not immediately become obsolete with the release of TTK. I think some of us might be overreacting just a bit.

Because of damage caps in crucible. Just because they won't be maxed in pve doesn't mean they become useless.
-
You use BH PvP when there Are so many other good snipers? Plus, procing white nail in the crucible Sounds pretty rare to me ;-)
-
I've used vanilla guns that weren't ascended in PoE runs and didn't notice a huge difference. PvP is the same. BH could still be OP without an upgrade in damage.
-
You definitely should notice a difference. 300 vs 365 weapons against Skolas, that would Be interesting. Still have a 300 LHF, i might Try that vs fatebringer, As they have the Same base stats.
-
I didn't say I didn't notice a difference. Just not a huge one. Do you think I'm crazy?! Only 365 on Skolas. I've read how much of a pain he is lol.
-
Oh, i was serious. I'll Try it this Weekend, just to get some numbers. Headshots on a 35 vandal should Do As a Testing Field.

Let me know how it goes
