Tarrok spoke up again in a chastising manner.
"We do want to help out, that's why we actually exist on a mortal plane and have champions, it's just that some of us are a little more stingy than others."
Oshirik spoke in retort with frustration building up.
"I'm upholding the duties we were meant to fulfill. The laws mother created."
"Yes, but would she want you to be like this? She wanted to see us as a family, to stick together. She trusted you with the underworld because she knew that you were the most responsible, but she wanted us to watch over you so you wouldn't turn into this. Don't push everything away Oshirik."
Oshirik turned his back to Ryker and his sister.
"So then where were you for thousands of years?"
She put her hand on his shoulder.
"We forgot, we made mistakes, but with brother gone we need to look out for each other even more, it opened our eyes."
"How is this going to bring Akron back?"
"Because maybe if you received some compassion then maybe you could finally give some."
Oshirik begins to breathe shaky breaths, almost coming out in sobs. Tarrok then hugs him from behind and they turn to audible sobs.
"I failed mother didn't I? I let him die."
"We all failed her."
She quickly looks to Ryker making a "go go go" motion with her head.

He chuckles a little and looks away. "I guess that's what I get for trying with a god." He gets up and throws the bar tender a 50$ "There's your tip." He begins walking towards the exit.

"He'll be ok right?" She looks at the bartender who shrugs tentatively. "It would have been best if I didn't come." Her body shimmered like a reflection in a pool of water until she faded from sight.
