I like how different the three are, so I was wondering what the community thought of these new weapons' looks.
Building reliable tools built for soldiers in the field, Hakke values simplicity over intricacy. Function over flair. Hakke weapons all start with a more tightly focused band of base stats that don’t spike as high or low as other weapon families, granting a solid foundation for growing the weapon. On a Hakke talent grid you’ll see a simplified set of scopes that work best for the weapon, front-loaded perk nodes, with the stat upgrade options occupying the final column. Hakke perk selection is focused on offensive actions and combat tactics. Hakke Pulse Rifles fire a burst of four rounds with damage adjusted to match the DPS of a three round burst, meaning the pulse rounds do less individually but are equal as a group. Fire time between bursts is slightly faster.

Pioneers of energy weaponry, Omolon is the first foundry to experiment beyond the world of combustion ballistics. Sporting lighter ergonomic frames, Omolon weapons all start with generous base handling stats to build from. Omolon talent grids focus on behavioral perks over stat customization. Legendary talent grids are the only weapons that offer three perks: one as the first non-scope upgrade and two as a binary choice in the final column. Perk selection favors perks that are energy based and/or go beyond the weapon to interact with the wielder’s abilities or status.

Some say the best weapon for a Guardian is the one they can customize to match their intent. Suros believes in options - weapons that can be repurposed for a variety of combat situations. Suros talent grids offer two columns of two stat perks, granting more options for changing weapon stats than any other foundry. The single behavior perk is grounded in the middle of the talent grid as a focus point for the weapon’s core potential. If you want a weapon that can flex from CQ to ranged, quick to powerful, fast handling to hard hitting all with the swap of a few nodes: SUROS.
Personally, I'm leaning towards Omolon. I like the mechanical and robotic look to their weapons along with the design philosophy.
Edit: Wait, so Suros has Suros Regime, Omolon has Hard Light, but we don't know which is the Hakke Exotic, do we? Possible MIDA Multitool.

I like THEM ALL.
-
3 RepliesI'm personally liking that different classes will have different weapons. Also, that they will have base stats that are upgradable for what encounter you are facing.
-
Suros. I love the style and customizability. Hakke and omolon look cool though.

2 RepliesVladof and Tediore! (dat reactive reload lol) #borderlands
jk lol. Omolon is where it's at.
1 ReplyOmolon's description talks about energy use....does this mean they are expanding how we can get elemental weapons?
-
Bump.
-
Tex mechanica... Nuff said
-
Hakke- no land beyond?
-
I'm thinking Hakke. Don't care if it's shiny, it must kill. I like low ROF / high impact, and that's what it seems to be.
-
3 RepliesOmolon, it looks like hard light
-
Omolon and Hakke ftw! I love Hardlight and the design philosophy of Hakke
-
I like the first too
-
They look pretty bland and base imo. Hopefully though that means we're getting weapon shaders

Personally I'm torn between Häkke and Omolon. I find the Omolon weapons to look cool but looks aren't everything and most of the time when I'm playing a game the simpler a weapon looks, the more I enjoy using it for something other than decoration. Häkke, on the other hand, looks like it has drawn the most inspiration from present day weapons and while that will probably detract from the space fantasy vibe Destiny has on the whole I'm willing to risk it for a good gun. Suros... I just don't like that bulbousness.
-
1 ReplyIts an impossible decision man... I can't choose.... GRAHH
-
1 ReplyHäkke is most appealing to me. That auto brings back ACR memories. Häkke is base function, nothing crazy, just a sturdy gun that can hit. I can't imagine needing much more

1 ReplyEdited by DE4THINC4RN4TE: 7/23/2015 11:48:39 PMI'm seriously digging Omolon's stuff.

1 ReplyJakobs.

1 ReplyWe all know what suros and omelon can do! Now that the stage is set lets see what hakke has in store for us

Edited by labusaleem: 7/23/2015 11:49:58 PMBlack and blue are my favorite colors so I'm kinda biased toward omolon

Edited by tomjonsilver: 7/23/2015 11:41:45 PMInvective Is a Cassoid shotgun, have look at their emblem.
-
Omolon. They made the Hard Light and I love the Hard Light.
-
Where am i gonna put all my new weapons? I wont have room for collection

1 ReplyHonestly, I can't decide! They are all so awesome! Hakke speaks to the more tactical, Counter-Strike/Insurgency side of me, just wanting a solid beast of a gun. Omolon is the epitome of the future, sleek and dark, a sci-fi wet dream. Suros is looks like Bungie took hints from Bioware, with dragons and sweeping designs, resulting in distinct badassery. Honestly, I'm probably just going to have to play with each one and see what fits! Oh darn!

2 RepliesCan't tell...would've liked an image of the perk trees. They're wording isn't too great. For looks, omolon looks coolest.
