I like how different the three are, so I was wondering what the community thought of these new weapons' looks.
Building reliable tools built for soldiers in the field, Hakke values simplicity over intricacy. Function over flair. Hakke weapons all start with a more tightly focused band of base stats that don’t spike as high or low as other weapon families, granting a solid foundation for growing the weapon. On a Hakke talent grid you’ll see a simplified set of scopes that work best for the weapon, front-loaded perk nodes, with the stat upgrade options occupying the final column. Hakke perk selection is focused on offensive actions and combat tactics. Hakke Pulse Rifles fire a burst of four rounds with damage adjusted to match the DPS of a three round burst, meaning the pulse rounds do less individually but are equal as a group. Fire time between bursts is slightly faster.

Pioneers of energy weaponry, Omolon is the first foundry to experiment beyond the world of combustion ballistics. Sporting lighter ergonomic frames, Omolon weapons all start with generous base handling stats to build from. Omolon talent grids focus on behavioral perks over stat customization. Legendary talent grids are the only weapons that offer three perks: one as the first non-scope upgrade and two as a binary choice in the final column. Perk selection favors perks that are energy based and/or go beyond the weapon to interact with the wielder’s abilities or status.
SUROS

Suros Rocket Launcher
Some say the best weapon for a Guardian is the one they can customize to match their intent. Suros believes in options - weapons that can be repurposed for a variety of combat situations. Suros talent grids offer two columns of two stat perks, granting more options for changing weapon stats than any other foundry. The single behavior perk is grounded in the middle of the talent grid as a focus point for the weapon’s core potential. If you want a weapon that can flex from CQ to ranged, quick to powerful, fast handling to hard hitting all with the swap of a few nodes: SUROS.
Personally, I'm leaning towards Omolon. I like the mechanical and robotic look to their weapons along with the design philosophy.
Edit: Wait, so Suros has Suros Regime, Omolon has Hard Light, but we don't know which is the Hakke Exotic, do we? Possible MIDA Multitool.

Waiting to use, also heard DeeJ in an interview say class specific weapons I think so I wait.

2 RepliesThe new guns look ugly and they look like badly designed toys. I have interest n none...

6 RepliesMIDA is Daito I think, but No Land Beyond might be Hakke

2 RepliesFun Facts Omolon made Hard Light SUROS obviously made the Regime And Hakke made Invective

I'm towards not throwing my money away...
-
Whichever is sold by the New Monarchy. I wanna match my classic armor.
-
I'm definitely getting everything from olomon. I'll probably get a few of the other weapons too, but olomon has priority for me.
-
Crux/lomar?
-
Suros said it had more slots for perks so I'm gonna go with that. Gonna save so many motes up.
-
Häkke. I plan to shred everyone with those weapons, but I might end up using SUROS on my hunter instead of Häkke, just as a homage to the Regime.
-
Honestly it depends omolon sounds perks focus which may be good for my warlock. Hakke may be good with my titian because it just solid customizable weapons although I can see it on a good hunter. Suros is just a jack of all trades masters of none so it depends if I find a good one to decide if I what to use it a lot.

2 RepliesEdited by Rocket69Jumper: 7/24/2015 12:42:09 AMIt'd be really cool if you got some sort of bonus for company loyalty. Like a slight reload bonus if you have all Hakke weapons equipped, a slight range bonus if you have all Omolon weapons equipped, or a slight weapon swap speed increase if you have all Suros weapons equipped. Something like that. It will kind of lose flavor if you just use whatever the best weapon is, without worrying about what company it is, because it won't be all that dissimilar to what we have now. Borderlands solved this with class mods that reward company loyalty

Suros > everything
regime is setup for a comback
1 ReplyHakke if it had to be just one for the no-nonsense look and sound of the guns. I like Omolon for the concept but the look could use less harsh angles. Suros guns are cool, but seem out of place, I don't really like the overly round thing they've got going on. There are of course other foundries, but if the other Tex Machina guns are as cool looking as the Last Word, Hakke has some competition.

1 ReplyI'd go with Tediore.
-
Tex Mechanica

2 RepliesIf mida is Hakke I know which one I'm choosing

Heckler and koch

1 ReplyBased on some generic info and a few pictures? None.

They all look cheap and don't offer anything new. No thanks to the weak attempt.
