Never had a problem with my plasma and burn in... I have over 1200 hours played. [spoiler]you need a better plasma tv[/spoiler]

  • The issue is the best plasmas are most likely to be burned. Read the Destiny plasma TV owners thread I started awhile back. I have a VT60 and had to stop playing.

  • Maybe you just don't notice it? Or your play time doesn't make up the majority of content consumed, there are several factors - least of which is the relative quality of my display.

  • How can one not notice burn in when it occurs? I certainly use my plasma for other media at least 1-2 hours a day. What display year and model do you have?

  • Samsung F8500. I don't currently have 'bad burn in', like you might see on airport screens, but rather when viewing a full-white you can see faint differences where the HUD elements are - 8hrs of scrolling eliminates most. If I keept the HUD static it would only continue to get worse and turn into true burn-in. Hence the 'regimen'.
