Yeah. They are certainly nerfing BH and other guns with TTK patch just so they can be rendered useless and unupgradable. That makes a lot of sense. God these dumb rumors...

To Bungie it does......by reducing player firepower across the board they can ramp up difficulty and keep you playing longer to complete content. OG weapons enable players to alleviate the pain Bungie is relying on to keep you grinding, which is one of the reasons they nerfed Gally rather than sell it to remove its Special Snowflake status on lfg.

  • Yep. That´s also why Valus and Skolas got their health reduced right? Some of you are worse than the dumbest conspiracy theories.

  • By taking away burns they reduced the amount of damage you can do to Skolas.....one the nerfs take effect you'll lose range and ROF. Sounds like he'll be as spongy as ever before long to me.

  • They reduced the overall difficulty of the engagement by reducing the number of adds that spawn as well (it already happened btw). Valus Taaurc is a perfect example of pure health lowering and making the game less grindy. They introduced material exchange for shards and motes. They reduced RNG and the grinding by having a clear armor pattern at variks and using weapon/armor cores. They reduced the grind to max level with etheric light. They reduced the amount of XP and resources needed to upgrade new weapons and took out attack/defense nodes. They introduced buying planetary resources with marks to lower the grinding on patrols through planets. ...should I go on? Or is that enough to see that Bungie isn´t encouraging the grind?
