And? Why isn't it anyone's business if someone decides a game weapon is worth real money to them?

Because it establishes real world trading thus making it a pay to win game.
-
Not really... It's not like an app game where you drop a grand and suddenly you're beyond beatable to the people who don't spend. All it does is give people the exact game weapons/gear everyone else has. And only if people allow it. Since paying for better gear doesn't equate to having the skill to win, it's not a pay to win game.

But if two guys don't have thorn and one of them buys one online then one still has a huge advantage over the other, next thing you know everyone's flocking to these websites for their own thorn or whatever and now everyone except the guys who play fair and poor people don't have it and have to earn it.

Edited by NiteHawk107: 7/26/2015 9:39:43 PMMy buddy got thorn in 4 matches yesterday. I "earned" mine in one sitting, months ago and I'm not a good player. If someone wants to buy one, when everyone else can just play s few games and get it, they're stupid. But with all the thorns running around already I'm not gonna notice s difference. But if they want to restrict the trading of bounty weapons, they can do that so everyone needs to do those themselves.

This is true. I used to do it for runescape. Think about it. I have a gally and need a icebreaker and my friend has one. By completeing nightfall i have gotten 4 additional gallys and he has gotten 7 icebreakers. Through the trading system i can do no work and get an exotic. With the trading system exotics will be come worthless and there is no need to grind and play the game.

People keep saying that... As if once people get all the weapons they want they'll quit, rather than use them. Is that a thing? People say if I can trade one of my gallys that person will stop play since grinding for gally is half the reason people stay... Doesn't it make sense that once they get it they'd use it? Maybe enjoy blowing shit up instead of a mindless frustrating grind? 2000 hrs of being pissed off that their buddy got gally at 54 hrs. That'd end and people would enjoy it more... Or am I the odd one out because I still play after getting my gallys?

They wont quit but if they dont have to grind for it like in the days of old you wont feel that sense of achievement for getting a exotic that u didnt have

Maybe YOU care about feeling a sense of achievement in a video game. If someone else doesn't, who cares? It's a game. Some people just play for fun. They don't chase a sense of achievement in something that doesn't matter in real life.
