I'm searching for the best PVP pulse rifle rolls. I have 3 different versions of the Hopscotch Pilgrim to work with and I wanted to get some opinions on which would have the most impact in PVP (mostly IB but maybe I'll test out in normal PVP). Scopes are of little importance to me but I shoot for FLA5, Sureshot, or RD OAS if possible.
Here they are:
#1 Feeding frenzy - Small bore/HCR/Agility - Counterbalance
#2 Rodeo - Small bore/Speed Reload/Agility - Head seeker
#3 Third Eye - Braced Frame/HCR/Single Point Sling - Hidden Hand
I have one on each of my chars.
Question is would you use one of these and if not then what would be considered your perfect roll? I hear people say that head seeker is great but others say the increase to damage is negligible. Hidden hand provides some unknown aim assistance boost which I can't say I can see a difference in PVE. Counter balance makes the recoil straight up-down but the rifle doesn't have much left-right recoil to begin with so this may be a wasted perk. I even thought about grinding for another one to see what else I can roll but I'm willing to reroll the one with counterbalance. I've been hearing good things about feeding frenzy when paired with reactive reload so I may go for one of those.
Oh yeah and the Messenger is probably out of the question as an alternate do to my (lack of) skill in PVP.
Edit#1 - Looks like the majority chooses head seeker with a couple of HHs and RRs.
Have at it - pfcsawjack

1 ReplySo does headseeker provide a good increase in PVP. I thought I remember reading it was from a 38 crit to a 41 crit with headseeker. Does 3-5 more per crit (2x max per burst) help out that much?

4 RepliesI think my hunter has the best rolls

#1 and #2 are not so good IMO, #3 is very good though. I like mine with Third Eye/Braced Frame/Headseeker.

I have 2 HPs: my main one has Reactive Reload, Braced Frame and Feeding Frenzy. This is the best roll on this gun in my opinion. Activating both first and last perks is absolutely lethal: it does 51 damage to the head. This is perfect for countering 2-3 players ganging up on you. My second has all but one different perk: Glass Half Full. Normally, HP does 38 damage to the head but with GHF, it moves up to just 39 damage. I gotta say I was disappointed at the slight change, but at least I can reroll it since I have another. I may go for Third Eye/Feeding Frenzy with Hidden Hand. Overall, I recommend the rolls on my first Hopscotch. This gun truly shines on bigger maps like Shores of Time and Widow's Court. I can take out snipers so easily and quick it's ridiculous

Edited by sheedyxx: 7/20/2015 11:58:37 PMHidden Hand makes bullets that would otherwise hit the body or miss, stick to the head. It is the most important perk. Second most important is braced frame for maximum stability although smallbore will suffice. Anything else is personal preference although personally I would avoid third eye but only because I run knucklehead radar. If you don't, third eye is also essential so basically your third roll is perfect for pvp For reference my roll is: Sureshot Rodeo Braced Frame Hidden Hand I use it more than Thorn and TLW and have more success. It is a killer weapon.
