Great read :) all wonderful points. In regards to the risk/reward, I've always felt that everything in this game should be attainable through specific actions.
-Reaching a certain faction level
-Completing specific bounty milestones
-Completing specific difficulty Strikes in under time limits
-Achieving milestones for PvE kills, PvP kills, Strikes completed, PvP wins, Fallen Captains killed, etc
-Having more bounty chains for weapons [i]and armor[/i]
-Have artifacts hidden throughout the game to find to build a weapon
You can go on and on, but it would make running content much more rewarding being able to work towards specific goals.

Exactly! And all of those suggestions are doable right now! No need for more assets, voice actors, or even story, but it will make the game so much more enjoyable. This is a salvage situation, but even then, Destiny has so much potential to still be much greater than it is now.
