I think for an old generation game it does pretty well.
You say there's little exploration. Arguable. There isn't anymore because we've seen it all, but the first month the game was out... It was fantastic, jaw dropping at times, in fact.
There's a lot more in the sense of cave paintings than you may think as well.

I'd say i've seen 85-95% of all the caves on every planet. some are fantastic to find but sad to be empty. I see little to reason for most of them to exsist outside of random chest/enemy spawns. Could you point me in the right direction to see the ones you are refering to? I'd like to be inspired again but i'm to the point where i don't care about this game or its overpriced expansion.

Perhaps my vagueness was misleading. I don't mean in the actual caves, they're more boring than a flat chested woman. But small details you may have missed along the journey of being a Guardian. Like the tiny floating Aegis' in the VoG and by the Nexus; skeletons strewn throughout the Academy and the marks of Fallen Houses letting you know who's in charge around those parts.

ah i see. and to those i have seen and enjoy i just wish there were more or that laying around and that everything with bungie didn't have to be so cryptic. it's cool to have hidden jems here and there for the most dedicated but what about casual explorers? they need to give those caves/nooks and crannies some DD breast implants ASAP lol
