kek Fox News It's real, but CEO apologized for the tone in the video. Not what they do. Since its legal. Time for your government taxes to fund full scale investigation into it anyways.
-
Proof? Lol
-
Proof that it's false? You need to prove it true first.
-
I have, look at the video lol
-
I'm unable to watch the video. What is it about/like?
-
Undercover Reporters are talking to the Planned Parenthood senior directs about purchasing aborted Fetuses organs over lunch. The senior director discusses the process and the prices, as well as saying if the Supreme Court found out about it "We're all losers". The video also showed an order form for the organs
-
And is it impossible for the video to be forged? People believe things too readily these days...
-
It isn't. There's a full video and a transcript lol. The CEO of planned parenthood even apologized
-
There you go. You just provided some proof.
-
Take everything vex says with a grain of salt. If I remember correctly, he also believes in the vaccines give you autism thing.
-
How is that relevant when he has video evidence?

Edited by tjustie: 7/19/2015 3:58:51 AMBecause he deliberately ignores any evidence contrary to what he stated. It's relevant because it shows you the mindset of who you're arguing with. Read up on this. The video was put out by an anti-abortion group who edited a 3 hour video down to 8 minutes to support their angle. For example, a major "shocking truth" from the video is that planned parenthood is trafficking fetus parts for profit. In reality, they edited 8 minutes of a cost discussion out to make it look like pp was selling the parts for profit when in fact the pp representative was discussing the transportation costs of donating the fetus parts to research. It is legal to accept reimbursement for reasonable expenses such as transportation costs. The video is highly biased and is also Vex's only source. Edit: He is also completely misrepresenting the apology of the ceo of pp. She apologized purely for the tone of the video, as the tone is rather matter of fact, which is jarring to a lot of people. However, it's a medical professional talking in the video, so a matter of fact tone is to be expected.

the group who posted the video is under investigation for tax fraud now for perjury and getting tax exemptions illegally. Can't beat the IRS with edited videos

You're supposed to refute evidence, not the person who gives it. If Vex has valid evidence for something then I'll consider it valid regardless of where it came from or the fact that he posted it. If someone refutes its validity properly then I'll consider that piece of evidence to be invalid wether or not the refuter is a trusted source or not.
-
Edited by tjustie: 7/19/2015 4:16:26 AMI just did refute his evidence. You absolutely should take into account the person giving you the evidence. That doesn't mean it's the only thing that matters, but it is something that should be paid attention too. You didn't even watch the video. Really, you should be reading up on the issue yourself. Vex provided the original video. A single, biased piece of evidence used to push an agenda. And if your standards for validity are simply just a single person giving a source, no matter who that person is or where the source came from, you need to rethink how you decide if something is valid. I already argued with vex in this thread. I provided him a few different pieces if evidence. He plugged his ears and refused to listen.
-
Did I say that you didn't refute his evidence? I came to the conclusion that this was an anti-abortion ploy quite some time ago. Sure. You can "take it into account". It's illogical to dismiss it based on the source, though. If 4chan posted a scientific, peer reviewed study about scallops that was absolutely true then you would be forced to dismiss it based on the source. Use critical thinking instead of judging the source to come to conclusions.
-
It is illogical to completely dismiss something based on its source. It is logical to be skeptical though, which would be why I looked into it from other sources. Vex is wrong and his source is not proof of anything.

Edited by The Domain: 7/18/2015 8:58:28 PMNo he didn't. What the CEO apologized for was the tone of the video. If your willing to read I can give you links proving this is all a hoax. What really happened was they edited a conversation about how fetuses are shipped to science labs. All 100% legal.
-
Dude a transcript exists that shows undeniable evidence that this is all real, and did you even watch the full video. I think that it's more than enough proof.
-
If this were real, I'd be just as outraged on the other side, but it is a fucking lie.
