Back again, this thread is being made because Blacksmith is behind a paywall and I would like to be able to use it since it's sitting in my inventory with the "Purchase Required" text and want someone to actually help me and not give me the help article 12233.
My preorder items should have been tied to my BNET account, not my PS3 console. I want to be able to use what I payed for.
Also no, I'm not paying scalpers for a new code, especially when I have to pay more money for something I have in my inventory already.
I want someone who can legitimately help me and not shrug me off like a piece of dust that fell onto their shoulder, because I'm honestly getting sick and tired of being treated like dirt, by both this company and it's community because I got screwed over.

Last gen systems (Xbox 360, PS3), and next gen systems (Xbox One, PS4), are neither backwards nor forwards compatible with one another. Any license owned for one of those systems, be it a game, expansion, or item add on, is specific to the platform on which it is owned, due to the Digital Rights Management system set up by the console manufacturers. Unfortunately, this means the shader license, which was redeemed as a Microsof/Sony code, is specific to the platform on which it was redeemed. The blacksmith shader for CoD:AW was an Activision promo for ordering a different game - not a Bungie promotion, and was therefore a console code. Bungie was not involved in the distribution of the item. Unfortunately, the help article you noted, is the correct answer to this issue.
