Good job OP
I went with the 'it makes 0 sense whatsoever that they would pull Gjallarhorn' train of thought from the second I saw it but not everyone on here has any common sense. XD
Hopefully they can put their pitchforks down and go home.
Although I suspect you'll be accused of photoshopping the photoshop. XD

you know THEY DO actually have reasons for pulling it if they did. They also could've just idk removed ghorn from the loot pool but not replaced it with anything. And when xur picked ghorn he picked a empty slot. Debunk that theory would you?
-
Why would they remove it? Especially now it's due a nerf.
-
What is this bullshit I keep reading about gally being pulled? That's the dumbest shit I've ever read. It's a damn weapon, they have no reason to do that, it drops for everyone all the time, so what good would it do to waste time pulling gally from him?

Edited by Darkness1049: 7/18/2015 1:24:24 PMoh and forgot to add. Even though its due for a nerf, that nerf isn't happening until September when all the rest of the weapons are getting nerfs and buffs. Would be pretty bad if tons of people just left and got rid of their copies right before a expansion just because of a weapon.

why would they get rid of it from xur hmm... Maybe because you can kill skolas within 2 minutes with it without a burn. IT would partially solve the lfg thing yet it hasn't been sold since week 2. The 2 raid bosses can be destroyed in 2-5 minutes with a full team of ghorns. The problem is too many people would have it. Yes that is the problem. Some people are only playing for ghorn. Anything they can come up with that has bosses will be destroyed by ghorn. Crota was a attempt to stop the ghorn spam. It still happens. Alot of people who own ghorn don't want it to be sold. It wasn't pulled. It's been removed since around week 2-5 when it got popular and was known for its power. If you were a game designer. Would you want a all powerful weapon in the game that can reduce everything to ash in less then 5 seconds excluding bosses? It would make the game too easy and boring. Xur selling it would be a problem for bungie. Doesn't it strike you as odd that xur HASN'T sold it since week 2? That the most powerful weapon is only a random drop item and hasn't been sold by xur? It got removed, bungie doesn't want the people playing to know because people WILL GET PISSED OFF. All those random casuals who go around buying stuff from xur on a weekly basis because they don't get to play that often maybe 5-10 hours a week wouldn't be able to buy the most powerful weapon from xur. Bungie won't tell us because those people who are still playing, those casuals that make up i'm guessing maybe 50-60 percent of our online community. They would end up selling the game which would cause a low for the taken king expansion. Nerfing the wolf pack rounds by 8% on ghorn in september. They wouldn't sell it just yet until THAT nerf if they sell it again. They WANT people to keep playing their game. It makes bungie look good, people will pay money for the expansion. Wouldn't it look pretty bad if people are leaving because they can't obtain the most powerful weapon in the game? Because xur is selling exotic weapons yet he can't sell the most powerful one that hasn't been sold since week 2? Ghorn isn't on xur's loot table. There is a blank space for it and that is what got picked. Ghorns spot WAS picked, there just wasn't anything in that space. Grats if you read this all btw.

I can't completely agree with this simply because... Well, it's just a game, as someone who has 3 galleys and almost all of my friends have one, i don't think it'd make a bit of difference if xur sold it, we'd all still be playing and we'd still only be using our gally on crota and Templar I have a lot of thoughts in my brain to put down as you did, but I'm currently Ina match on bf4 :P

Sadly its probable true that even though its just a game, people WILL leave over 1 all powerful weapon. There is alot of stupid people who go along with the masses. Human sheep if you will. People who leave, they will bring their friends along with them. Enough people would leave over a single weapon. Reply to me later AFTER you win that match lol

Lol, actually did win, but yeah, sadly you are 100% right, but on the bright side, by doing that they are weeding out those crybabies and whiners, eventually the game will just be people who love the game, like cod, halo, or battlefield, people will actually complain when things need to be changed
