Finally things are being properly balanced.
- Auto Rifles are being restored to about where they should be rather than being useless
- G-Horn finally receives the nerf that it has needed since launch
- Hand-Cannons are being nerfed so that other weapons become viable again
- Thorn can no longer be the crutch that it was for lazy people in PvP
- Shotguns being brought back to where they should have been all along rather than being the 1 hit nukes that they had been made into.
Honest to god I have not been this happy at Destiny news in ages. It finally seems like they are actually taking the game seriously and are going to start properly balancing the game.

I play PvP rarely and unsuccessfully. :) If Icebreaker will generate a round every eight seconds instead of every five seconds, you should at least be able to pick up special. Six in the magazine, ~15+ total reserve, like every other sniper. As for Black Hammer ... Why? Just, why? It is OP in a few special cases, but only vs PvE stationary bosses. No need to mess with it. I would rather have a big magazine, say 8 rounds, and drop the perk entirely if I have to pull from reserves anyway. I don't mind the Gjallahorn nerf in theory. I have a bunch of exotic weapons I rarely use (including Icebreaker!) because Gjallahorn is too good not to equip. But if you only nerf and don't buff anything to compensate (auto rifles do not compensate), and what used to take 30-90 seconds now becomes a long slog ... Right or wrong, you are going to alienate people. Not every gun needs to be perfectly balanced. You can have an "elite" tier and those can be clearly superior, maybe not as much as today, but you don't need to nerf to the point Black Hammer is no better than LDR, for example. I wonder if there will be new OP TTK weapons?
