"Right now we need to get the hellouta doge, there are ships in the hanger we can take to get out."

-
"Yes?"
-
"That was the first time I'd gotten decent sleep, the alcohol helped, but since then the nightmares only come once and awhile."
-
"Doesn't sound fun, and at least I'll know what to expect..." she sighs
-
"Listen, I know right now you won't want to talk about... What happened if you eventually ever do I'm here for you."
-
"You can already see one of the many things he did" she gestures to her face, before looking away
-
He took off his shirt, revealing a patchwork of tattoos and of scars. Large jagged lines run across his chest and back. "I know, and he will pay for it, for everything he's done."
-
she looks at him, before looking away again "He also, constantly berated my mind, trying to gain entry to it He also used plaque flies..." she shudders slightly
-
"He did that and he forced me to watch as he created two shades. One was of me and the other of a person who constantly changed. It was always a person I cared about, friends and family. The closer I was to them the worse their deaths by the shade that looked like me." He walks over and sits next to her, putting his hand on her shoulder.
-
she continues looking away "That's a nightmare... I don't know about you, but the worst came from the soldiers and guards..."

-
she stays quiet for a bit
-
He gets up and goes to his rucksack and digs around he produces two packages of rations. "Here you need to eat, you've lost a lot of blood. " He walks back and hands her one.
-
she takes it and starts eating it, keeping quiet
-
He breaks open the package and starts to eat. "Not exactly a five star diner, but I could be worse, it's better than what I grew up eating."
-
she nods, and continues eating

They spend the rest of the meager meal in silence. Pavel lets her have peace and quiet. As the ship approaches Terra he gets up to leave to go to the cockpit. "We're approaching Terra, I'm going to land at the tower, you'll be home soon."
-
"I might be out of the war for a while..." she stands and walks into the cockpit
-
"Hey I understand, you've been through a lot, take some time off, if you want to leave Terra I know of a secluded planet, less than ten thousand people on the whole thing."
-
she nods, and stands there waiting to land
-
The ship enters the atmosphere and Pavel contacts the control room of the tower and gets permission to land. The ship sets down on the landing pad and Pavel gets up to exit the ship.
-
she moves out of his way, then follows him out
-
He strolls down the ramp and into the main area of the tower.
-
she continues following
-
He makes his way to the armory, checks in his rifle and then escorts her back to her room.
-
upon reaching her door, she looks at him "Pavel, I-I can't thank you enough for getting me out of there..."
