As long as exotics, ToO gear, faction gear, raid gear, and PoE gear (shank burn OP) can't be traded, I say go for it. I've wanted to trade my Trials coins for a while...

Edited by SergioVengeance: 7/16/2015 10:48:42 PMConsidering Xur gives out handouts each week for literally nothing, exotic trading would not break the game. Bungie thinks it will because people just won't have to grind anymore (which is their whole game.) Borderland's 2 had trading. Even with legendary weapons like the Norfleet that was designed to break the game. It didn't break the game and people still played. If my buddy starts a Warlock when he was a Hunter and I do a Hunter while I was a Warlock, trading would not be a problem. So many games have trading. There's so many self entitled scrubs in here saying. "I worked for all my Top tier gear." When they're first in line to talk to Xur every week. If trading breaks the game, Xur breaks the game. If you don't want exotics bring traded, then I should never see you buy an exotic from Xur.

Xur sells a few exotics, but the ones from exotic bounties, raiding, PlayStation exclusives, PoE ciphers, and the almighty Gjallarhorn (although rumors abound that Xur may sell it again) are all off his selling list. If trading any exotic was allowed, most players would be unaffected, and PvP balance couldn't be made too much worse... ...but... ...take out the grind for exotics, and most players will have no reason to keep playing. Bungie would be ill-advised to allow exotic trading.
