Yes they should. I have all raid gear and love weapons like FateBringer, Black Hammer and Chain of Orbiks-Fel but I don't want to keep using the same weapons over and over.
We have a new enemy and a new race, time for new powers and new weapons.

No, you would rather have weapons with useless perks like shank burn and dreg burn? Imagine getting a rocket launcher with dreg burn? What's the point? The new perks are all terrible and if we can't bring old legendaries with us what's the point of doing VoG and CE?

It isn't my job to figure this stuff out but if by December this year VOG weapons are still the best option for PVE then we're all in trouble.

Edited by sergantsnipes05: 7/16/2015 3:58:42 AMNo. Right now we have essentially 3 expansions worth of weapons. Getting rid of old ones would leave us with the lack of variety seen in vanilla destiny.

I don't think so. Given how weapons appears to be changed dramatically we should be ok. There appear to be weapon factions, many different weapon models and so on. We will find out soon enough I am sure.

Vanguard. Crucible. 3 factions. Raid. 6 new of each weapon type. That's it.
-
That's not what I meant. In Taken King there will be weapon manufacturers and each one provides their own set of weapons. One manufacturer is Suros.
-
So? It's still not going to be more than 6

Edited by Unicronic: 7/16/2015 4:22:16 AMManufacturers will offer their own set of primaries, specials and heavies. There will be multiple manufacturers plus factions and vanguard/crucible. Then there is raid weaponry. The final count will be much higher than Vanilla Destiny.
