• The Summoner sighs, taking a seat next to you. The pain ceases for now. He removes his helmet - you find that he's actually quite beautiful to behold. Smooth ivory skin with a hint of violate, glowing blue, radiant eyes, a striking, aquiline jawline, light purple lips, and long hair as white as snow. "I've died more times than I can count over the history. I will die again, it is inevitable and for that I am prepared. Neither you or I have any say in what happens next, we're just puppets for the blood thirsting gods" "Did you think all of this was simply my personal agenda?" Asks the Summoner

  • "This war.. Is going to change everything. I have seen the future through power of the warp, the same power you seek to master. There is only death, and the laughter of thirsting gods.." Says the Summoner, lost in thought *he turns to you* "I've been watching you.. Every step of training you've taken, every thing you've learned, it's all for a purpose you don't fully understand yet" "Why did you decide to learn the ways of the aether?"

Background info: An entry from the journal of Sarris-Sanguine (Part 4)
An entry from the journal of Sarris-Sanguine (Part 1) This entry is dated over 15,000 years ago.. My brother and I were drawn to the planet, the whispers were maddening. We kept dreaming about Rivers of Blood flowing through an incredibly large city with golden buildings and streets. We didn't know this place. When we arrived, the planet was nothing but a jungle with millions of crisscrossing rivers. The orbit of the planet was all wrong - one side was shrouded in eternal darkness while the other never knew the night. Massive storms and atmosphere anomalies were the norm in the twilight regions between the dark and the light. The whispers led us into the storms. My brother and I went alone as the whispers instructed and we eventually came to a deep river that cascaded over the edge of a large mountain. The whispers led us into a cave behind the waterfall. Something about this place was... Off. Strange shadows played tricks on our eyes as we continued deeper and deeper into the cave. We kept catching glimpses of a man in a finely-tailored suit. It seemed like he was................(the ink is smudged in this section and unreadable)................... And that's when we arrived to the deepest, darkest chamber. And we soon found out that we were not alone. To be continued

An entry from the journal of Sarris-Sanguine (Part 2) This entry is dated over 15,000 years ago.. The chamber was incredibly large. The ceiling was thousands of meters high with hundreds of beautiful, sparkling pillars made of multi colored, semi-transparent crystals. The tall columns had a strange prism effect on the violate tinted light. Massive, wall mounted cauldrons burned intensely with purple colored flames that kaleidoscoped complex geometric patterns on the crystallized walls. The chamber was long, but at the far side, we could faintly see two elevated thrones made of pure diamond. My brother and I cautiously made our way towards the thrones - the whispers beckoning us to make haste. As we continued, we saw two ancient looking sets of armor sitting upon the great elevated seats; one was solid black and seemed to absorb light. The obsidian colored plate appeared to have demonic looking faces that constantly shifted within the rare metal. The faces seemed to belong to beings that were trapped within the armor. The other, slightly larger, set of plate was crimson with beautiful ruby inlays. It's regal features were elegant yet fiercely lethal. Little did we know, our lives would soon be turned upside down - for these sets of armor were connected to the warp itself, and the power of thirsting gods. To be continued...

An entry from the journal of Sarris-Sanguine (Part 3) This entry is dated over 15,000 years ago.. The whispers demanded that we wield the armor, but something didn't feel right about the situation - unfortunately my brother didn't feel the same. I voiced my concern that this could be a trap but my warning fell upon deaf ears. I could almost blame him for what happened next but I will not. We both allowed the chaos of the warp to consume us. The armor fit me perfectly, almost as if it was forged for me and me alone... But by whom? As I adorned my helmet, I realized my error. Immediately my senses were assaulted by a powerful psychic presence. Both my brother and I were not prepared for the dark ascension. My vision blurred as a wave of excruciating nausea seized me. I began weeping as I collapsed to my knees in agony. As I looked through the corrupted lenses of the helmet I felt the power of the warp coursing through me. Changing me. Consuming me. Controlling me. I caught a quick glimpse of the Rivers of Blood that I would spill in the name of chaos - it was sickening to know what I was about to become. From that point forward, chaos tainted my soul. There would be no coming back from this nightmare. To be continued...
This entry is dated over 14,000 years ago.. We were consumed by chaos. City after city, world after world, all burned in the flames of our corrupted, unstoppable might. We were the darkest plague to ever spread in the galaxy - the connection to the warp made us invincible.. And gave us both the insatiable thirst for blood. Although we were both connected to the chaotic aether, my brother, was the true monster. He would later be known as the Summoner, for the warp spawns he conjured became the very definition of evil. After a period of roughly 1100 years, our lifestyle of slaughter began to wear on my conscience. I began to regret what I had become, but my brother loved it. I remember the fateful conversation that prompted him to forge the tool of my destruction - the Blood Reaper. I had grown tired of the thirst and the constant pursuit of blood. I explained to my brother that I could not bear the thirst anymore, I asked him to end my suffering, but he claimed he could conjure a blade to extinguish my thirst and suffering. He said that by binding my soul to the blade, my thirst would be offloaded into the blade itself - which was only partially true. The chaos blade was forged and imbued with the power of hell itself, glowing with ghostly white flames. As I grabbed the hilt, it instantly engulfed my soul, and shifted from white to a crimson color red - the color of my bloodlust. For a moment, it worked. My thirst was cured, which had a somewhat sobering effect on my psyche. Without the bloodlust I realized that all the pain and suffering I had caused had to stop.. It was at that point, I turned by back on my brother and severed my connection to the warp forever. Without the dark embrace of the warp, the blade turned on me. The ironic part of the story is that the very tool forged to sate my bloodlust became the very instrument to drive my thirst yet again. I forced me to sate my bloodlust. To forced me to kill. The Blood Reaper became my new worst nightmare. To be continued...
