Lol at these butt hurt mother -blam!-ers. Bad parenting? She could've been locked up in her room. Instead he spent a little time with her. Better parent interaction than those of you who throw your kids outside and say "go play" for hours. To the other jealous bitches: don't be mad a 2 year old did something most of you can't do with a weapon most of you have never used. Kudos, Clear.

 • Seriously. As a little kid I played Mortal Kombat 4 with my dad on the original PS, and now I'm going to school and designing software for a Department of Defense contractor. I highly doubt violent video games at a young age equals bad parenting. It's a way for parent and child to bond. Nothing wrong with that.

 • Oh yeah, it isn't like he made her play a game with guns or anything, right? You earn stupidity of the century.

 • You realize both her mommy and daddy are OIF vets right? I was infantry and she was Intel .... Dont worry though my daughter has NEVER heard or seen a weapon or anything associated with the military in her 2 years of life. if you want to continue your conversation about me being a bad parent you can message me.

 • Neph... Everyone has been handing you your ass on this subject because you can't even present a reasonable argument. If you're concerned about parenting, then why aren't you worried about your own instead of wasting your time here? Get a grip.

 • I am guessing you have not heard the various stories of violent/gun video games making kids go insane. Ok then, child. If you had the slightest bit of common sense, you would understand.

 • So all those stories are just pinned on video games. You sir/madam have NO evidence backing up your statements. Many people have given their gaming lives as an example, so I will give mine.
I started playing when I was 2. My Dad was playing Tomb Raider on the Ps1. I was apparantly fascinated about the fact that moving a stick would control the girl. I jumped around Croft Manor, but technically I was still playing. I got Crash Bandicoot 1 and 3 and played them all of the time. I also played the Medal of Honours and Rayman games. Years later, I got a Ps2 and Ratchet and Clank. This game is full of violence, like the others I mentioned above. I got the sequels when they came out, and enjoyed them. But I also played all of the Call of Dutys and Medal of Honours, particularly 3 and Rising Sun. Now keep in mind I'm still very young. I played the original Killzone, the Tomb Raiders after that, and Star Wars Battlefront 2, all of which are violent games. At that time I broke my sister into gaming, she is 3 years my junior. Got a ps3. Got the CoDs and MoHs for that. Played violent games almost exclusively. But three games stand out among them all, Borderlands 2, The last of us, and Uncharted 3, all ultra violent games. At this point my sister is my co-op partener. We played the Arena in UC3, played through the entire TLoU story separately, and played Borderlands 2 excessively. Two little brothers came in, 10 years my junior. Myself and my Dad trained them in by using CoD and Minecraft and LittleBigPlanet. They can now atleast play a little bit. We all played for hours on 4 player games. Now granted they are not better than I am, but we still had fun. We introduced my brothers to Borderlands 2 and they instantly loved it. Got their characters set up and they played. They gawk at me playing Destiny, one of the lesser violent games they like. Ps4. Got the Handsome Collection and now we all play a Borderlands game. I am now 16 and dont have intentions to murder someone. Neither does my family. The ratings are there as a guideline, to say to others who don't know their child's mental maturity. We were all thought at a young age that Video game violence =/= real life violence. I currently take part in 3 sports, Soccer, Swimming, and Basketball, I excell in school particularly in Mathematics and Science based subjects.
TL;DR: Played violent games and so did my siblings, yet show no signs of going insane and show no signs of being stupid.

 • I do. Played video games of all types from the time I was 5 until now (31.) I graduated with an Aerospace degree and currently have of the most important jobs in the world making six figures. Games aren't the problem... Child.
