There are a couple of things I'd like in the sequel. Mainly larger landscapes to explore like you've stated above. The game doesn't really satisfy my desire to explore and discover. Then there's a couple of things I'd like them to add to these larger areas: Discovered exotic bounties- Imagine exploring an old facility in a abandoned region of old russia that is full of enemies. You kill those enemies and one of them drops an item used to start an exotic bounty for a cool new weapon. You then go on a large adventure to multiple areas to learn the story behind this weapon and how to find it. Planetary invasions- Just like weekend pvp events, what if there were planetary invasions that take place on a random planet during weekends? A random enemy race would constantly invade human colonies and fortresses and try to take control of all areas. Players would need to defend these areas or lose them until the next weekend. If players are successful in defending, a world boss will appear on the last day of the invasion weekend and players would need to group up and fight it. These world bosses would drop legendary loot with a chance at dropping an exotic or exotic bounty. Fortresses and outposts- then there's fortresses and outposts that are constantly being attacked by enemies of different races during weekend invasions. Players need to defend these fortresses or else lose them to the enemy. Then there would be events where players attempt to reclaim these fortress' for their faction. Which I will get into now... Faction wars- they need to bring back the idea of faction wars. But have it dictate how players react to each other out in the world. If a player is a different faction as another player, they are free to attack that player and can obtain random loot from them. Players can also claim fortress' for their faction and can begin a faction war in that region where players of a different faction can group up and lay siege to the fortress to take it for their own faction. Any players who do not wish to participate in faction wars can simply mark themselves as independent and not fight for a specific faction(But there will be a cooldown so players can't constantly switch between marked and unmarked) -Vehicle tokens- like you said above, I think vehicles can be more useful and I think with the ideas I posted here, they can be very useful for invasions and faction wars. Players can spawn vehicles using vehicle tokens they can purchase at the tower, but they are expensive and have a large cooldown so they need to be used responsibly. Vehicles would include tanks, armored carriers, weaponized speeders, etc. These are a few ideas I hope can be implemented in Destiny 2 or just sometime in the future.

wishlist: 1. hash out the story in the in-game experience.. NOT in the grimoire cards please 2. vehicle weapons.. the Fallen have it.. it makes so sense that Guardian's sparrows would not have weapons 3. Ship to ship combat 4. Fallen as a playable race (Destiny year 1 already hints that the Fallen may become allies down the road... or... at least some of them might) 5. Time travel back to the Golden Age (The Vex can do it.. have Guardians steal their technology) 6. More raids, BUT, do not make raids the completion of a story. The worst thing about TDB is that you can play through 90% of the story single player, then HAVE to raid to finish it. That is so frustrating to the casual player. Most recent meta indicated that the majority of your player base doesn't play the raids anyways. Include them for the hardcore players, but don't make story completion contingent upon it. 7. A crucible match that has 0 supers, and everyone starts with the same three weapons but can find exotics in chests (they don't get to keep them, it is only for that match) 8. Sparrow race & obstacle courses 9. More locations, more "open universe" feel 10. Explain everything that was left out of year 1 story (who the heck is The Stranger? When were the EXO created? For what war? Who created them? Were they always sentient or did they become self aware?) 11. Make the social areas (Tower, Reef etc) seem more alive. The NPCs should be more interactive... not just standing there waiting for the player to speak to them. (Skyrim, GTA5, Fallout3 are good examples of how to do this). The static NPC who just stands and waits for the player to approach them is sort of outdated game tech... #Destiny2, #sequel, #feedback, #cozmo, #deej That being said... Destiny Year 1 was very groundbreaking. I have loved playing it, and look forward to TTK and Destiny 2. Thank you Bungie.
